This place was probably the best vet experience I've had so far in my furmom life. Considering being in a small limited town, I was highly impressed by their facility and the overall care. Firstly, this place was so clean and smells so clean. I've never experienced that in any vet I've been to. The nearest appointment available was only a few days away from making the appointment, which isn't bad compared to many other places. I called the morning of my cat's possible urgent needs and they were able to move my appointment a day closer. Not only that, they made the effort to call me an hour later to fill in a cancelation the day of. They truly shown consideration for my furbaby. I was so grateful for them to fit my cat in! It saved me stress and tended to my cat's illnesses! All staff were great. Dr. Stalling was amazing. She was very tentative, spoke respectfully, friendly, and not in a rush with us. She went over all diagnostic results including xrays which I appreciate so much! She gave great recommendations and didnt feel like she was selling us to get unnecessary diagnostics done. I've read reviews saying they're a bit pricey but honestly how great they were and the convenience of not having to drive 2 hours away was totally worth every dollar for us! Would come back again and would recommend to anyone!
We unfortunately had a poor first experience with Dr. Bean. We felt very dismissed, as the vet was only there for less than two minutes, she didn’t introduce herself or ask our names. For the initial exam, she didn’t ask if we had questions, age or sex our kitten. She didn’t say bye, she just walked out and we were left thinking surely she would come back. We instead had to direct all our questions to the tech who was incredible and very sweet (thank you!).
I’ve had absolutely amazing experiences with every Vet I’ve encountered, and the staff as well. My dog Hero has struggled with nail trims all 8 years I’ve had him. Between family, groomers, friends, different vets at different locations, he’s always been a lot to handle. I know it’s always been stressful for him, and stressful for the techs that encounter him. Everyone has always been patient with him, and me. One of the techs diagnosed his nail condition and after a year of being prescribed medicine he didn’t need for a condition he didn’t have, it felt like such a weight off my shoulder. Every Vet I’ve seen has been attentive, caring, and taken their time to listen to my concerns. Every time. The last time I went, i was prescribed a new medicine to give him for at home nail trims. It’s unfortunate it’s taken this long (not all pets fault!), but I’ve finally found something that makes him calm enough to have me trim his nails at home. By myself!!! I’m so glad my baby can be at home, on his bed, and being okay getting his nails cut. Such a BIG thank you to Dr. Reagan. Photo is of my baby celebrating his first stress free nail trim!! 🫶🏻 forever grateful!!
Our miniature poodle Rocky was a patient of Dr. Bean's. I had to move my 94yo dad to Corrales, my home, to take better care of him because my sons live here on our small farm. It has been a year and a half now and I cannot tell you how much I miss Dr. Bean and Roden-Smith! The big city of Albuquerque is not always better! Writing this while sitting in vet room for over 2.5 hours now, waiting for the vet to come in.
I gave a 1 star for these reasons. The first visit was amazing great care. The we had are second visit and the female doctor with glasses was showing us how to give are cat medicine and was chocking are cat to the point of the cat pooped her self I was so pissed off!!!! The we had are last visit and are appointment was at 4:30 and we waited for a hour in the lobby the took us in the room and had to wait another 30 minutes very unprofessional to schedule an appointment and to put everyone else if front of us we didn't get out off the visit around 5:45 we will NEVER GO BACK TO TO ALL THAT HAPPEN I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL !!!
Just wanted to stop by and say how much we love Dr. Tealey. I bring all my working dogs and pets into see her. She always handles everything so considerably and is a really special vet. We are so so fortunate to have her in the area.
Dr. Reagan is the best Vet we've ever had and we've had dogs for a very long time. His staff is great also, from the staff out front to the Vet techs to the other Vets there.. We've had some of our fur babies sent over the rainbow bridge there and they really care about them whether they are sick or healthy. I recommended the All Pets Animal Hospital every chance I get.
