Dr.Stenzel Clearwater Animal Clinic

When I walked in the door it smelled bad and was very warm inside this office. Everyone was nice that worked here. They did help my pup. Unfortunately, I'm questioning the cleanliness of the operations. Even though it's animals it's still medical.

WARNING to avoid Stenzel Clearwater Animal Clinic. Prices are reasonable but if you value the life of your pet, consider that this vet has multiple complaints against her for withholding sedation when animals had to be euthanized. The animals suffered and the owners were traumatized. She also sedates for echocardiograms when she shouldn’t be and has killed multiple dogs by doing this. We lost our pup this way because we trusted her and found things out afterward that other vets do not sedate for echocardiograms. She has multiple complaints that have been filed against her license. This practice has gone down hill since Dr. Stenzel passed away two years ago.

Brought my cat there for almost 10 years. Year by year the service went down also the care for the animal. This last time they tortured my cat. He needed to eat every 2 hours while they asked me to bring him in before they even open just to do a simple (sanitary trim) that they didnt do the visit prior. I was met with him sitting in a crate for over 5 hours before I went into the vets office to protest. Only to get met with we had 4 emergency surgeries. Tho I brought him in for something that can take as little as 5 minutes and before they opened mind you. This vet office staff is very inexperienced. The lady owner is mindful of your pet but the male owner reminds you of a shady mechanic wanting to run all diagnostics.... let that sink in. If you get any of this from my comment run away it will only cost you time $ and at the expense of your pet.

Today I took my precious little pet, Bibi, to the vet for a checkup, and I was so happy because they did her examinations in such a kind and gentle way. I want to give a special mention to the receptionist, Jessica, for her wonderful and kind treatment, to the nurse, Danielle, for her beautiful and caring treatment, and to Dr. C, who was so sweet and loving with Bibi and explained everything to us in detail. All three were wonderful, and I'm so glad I met them. I highly recommend Clearwater Animal Clinic.

Dr charpentier is the best. Jessica at the front always accommodates us when needed and she is super friendly. The techs always greet waffle as well which is so sweet even when they aren’t working with us. We’ve taken all our family dogs and here and now my precious waffle!

I'm so disappointed, and so hurt on how this business is running after Dr stenzel has passed. My family, along with our friends that recommended this place has me so upset on how things are running today . The whole office understands that I have a reactive dog and nail trims must be under sedation. We picked my baby up with a burn burn to her thigh (from leaving the heating pad on too long ) They tried to say ' we were trying to cut her nails without sedation first but she was so upset during the whole ordeal " Yeah, we all knew that (the whole staff knew) we paid for sedation so why would you try it without ? These animals are our family. Although the front desk staff is awesome, we will no longer be using this practice going forward

We have been going to Clearwater Animal Clinic for 34 years utilizing every aspect of professional care as well as boarding. The staff is extremely friendly and the doctors always speak to you about your pets as if your pet was their pet. That gives me great comfort, especially when our pets reach senior ages.
