We took our baby to get spayed yesterday & right from drop off Callie took her time introducing herself to my pup & just being so kind & patient to not overwhelm her. Upon pickup she answered all my questions & was just wonderful! You can tell she truly loves these animals & her job. She is a true gem to have at your organization ♥️

I really can't thank this place enough. I have taken 2 cats here (Momma and Jack) and both have had successful surgeries and recoveries. The ladies that work here are so nice and passionate when handling your animal. Their procedure prices reflect their care and concern for animals, that they really just want all animals to be spayed/ neutered and cared for. I will always stand behind the Humane Society of Clarksville. Thank you all so much!!! You all do wonderful work, keep it up!!

Adopted my dog from MCACC and the Humane Society picked her up and performed her spay surgery. The Humane Society NEVER contacted me for her pick up order status. I called MCACC to check AND tried to call the Humane Society (no one answered, I left a message, no one called me back). I called the MCACC again to see if they had any updates, they apologized and said they couldn’t get ahold of the Humane Society either. The latest pick up time is 4pm and it was already 4:30pm when MCACC called and said that the Humane Society called Animal Control to pick her up because I didn’t show up (???!!!). The MCACC told them I had been calling and they said they didn’t know because the call mailbox was full. I picked her up from the MCACC after being picked up by Animal Control. If I had the choice, I would not have chosen the Humane Society and will not choose them for procedures like this in the future, especially if their communication is this poor!

The gentle man that helped My girl Maddie was awsome with her. These folks did an awsome job on our baby girl when she got spade. And very affordable for anyone. Thank you all for being there for her services.

Amy and her team go above and beyond daily to help Clarksville’s over population issues. Without low cost spay/neuter options, people would be unable to get their pets fixed. Spay and neuter is the only way to stop the craziness. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Four cats which were fixed today. All females and now no kittens for these beautiful girls.

I had two appointments booked to have my dog spayed one on May 5 and one in June. Come May 5 I had to have an emergency hip replacement which if you don’t know is not a minor surgery it’s a major surgery. So we had no call no showed our dogs appointment. Not like it was on purpose but being that we were an emergency surgery nobody was able to call and let them know. We weren’t gonna be there. Apparently, they sent me an email stating that they were demanding a $25 deposit to hold my dog Valkyrie’s appointment in June. Obviously because I’m on heavy duty medicine to heal from my surgery, I did not see this email. Because of that they decided to cancel my appointment. I tried to call to reason with them to see if they would be willing to show a little bit of grace to continue to hold her appointment if I paid the deposit now and they refused. They expected me to call them and tell them that we weren’t going to be at our appointment while I was actively going into surgery. His appointment was at 7 AM. That’s when I was literally being wheeled back to the OR. I can understand policies and procedures and wanting to make sure that people show up for their appointments, but it is OK to show grace when Grace is due. The lady on the phone, I don’t know what her name was, but she was so freaking rude. I have never experienced. Somebody was such a little customer service and human decency before in my life, but she was ungodly disrespectful and rude. I also don’t know how you expect somebody to be able to call and tell you what’s going on for one when they’re actively going into emergency surgery and for two when they come out of it on the other side and they are actively on very heavy duty medicine. It’s absolutely ridiculous and absurd, and I refuse to support a business that is unwilling to show human empathy

I brought my 1-year-3-month-old dog in to be spayed. Prior to her surgery, she was a healthy, happy dog with no previous health issues and was fully up to date on all vaccinations. The day she came home after surgery, she appeared somewhat lethargic and did not want to eat. However, I was assured that this was normal following the procedure. By the following day, she seemed to be returning to her normal self. Out of caution, we made sure she did not run or engage in any activity that could interfere with her recovery. She was eating and drinking normally at that time. The day after that is when everything took a devastating turn. We woke up to find her vomiting and experiencing bloody diarrhea. I immediately emailed the clinic with photos of both her symptoms and her incision site. I was told that the incision looked fine and was advised to seek veterinary care. We took her to the vet immediately, but her condition rapidly worsened over the course of the day. Tragically, by approximately 9:00 p.m. that evening, our dog passed away. This has been absolutely devastating for our family. Just days earlier, she was a beautiful, energetic dog full of life, and now she is gone despite our efforts to do everything right. I am deeply heartbroken and profoundly disappointed by this entire situation. I cannot help but feel that if I had never brought her in for this procedure, she would still be with us today.
