Everyone was so nice! They put us and our cats at ease. I would highly recommend their services to everyone. The membership plan is reasonable and provides us great peace of mind.

I recently moved from Clarksville to Hampton VA. My last visit to this Banfield was horrible! The doctor came in and instead of familiarizing herself with my pet, she immediately began poking and prodding my dog. Of course he’d be reactive. I never went back. I asked them to mail meds to my new local Banfield and/or local Walgreens and they have the nerve to deny the request because it’s been over a year since they’ve seen him. This is why I will be ending my plan and switching hospitals. 🙃

This facility provides the best quality treatment and care for my pets chief Zulu , and Queen. The staffs are so professional and knowledgeable about the job, I just love the way they speak to their customers. This is a great place to take your pets.

This place is incredibly frustrating to deal with. It already takes a significant amount of time and effort for me to get my dog into the car and to an appointment due to her anxiety, which the staff is fully aware of. I have to give her multiple medications just to make the visit somewhat manageable. During our last visit, I attempted to drop her off for her appointment, but about 30 minutes later I was called and told to come pick her up because of how anxious she was. Their solution was for me to bring her back after giving her medication. When I returned, I was then told there was no appointment scheduled. I had originally scheduled two appointments — one for routine shots and another for a dental cleaning — and somehow neither of them were in their system. After everything it takes to prepare my dog for these visits, showing up to find out the appointments were never even booked is extremely frustrating. Overall, the experience felt very disorganized and ended up being a complete waste of my time and money.

We had a really great experience here from start to finish. Brought our dog in for a cat scratch to the eye and they were able to squeeze her in last-minute. Chloe, the front desk agent was super kind and helpful. Dr Kirby was very thorough and kind as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Our appointment was at 12:00 PM. By 12:25, no one had come in, so I went out to ask where the doctor was. I could see the doctor in another room, and the receptionist told me she would check. Nothing happened. At 12:36, a technician finally came in, asked a few questions, and then took my husband’s service dog away from him without asking or explaining anything. When my husband spoke up about it, the technician laughed in his face and continued taking her anyway. Completely unacceptable and disrespectful. When the doctor finally came in, she said our dog was "all good" and immediately left. That was it. We were in the building for an hour and got maybe one minute with the doctor. This was unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly insulting—especially given how much Banfield promotes comprehensive care. We did not feel respected as clients, and my husband’s service dog was handled in a way that should never happen. We will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting timely care, communication, or basic respect.
