Citrus Heights Pet Hospital

I needed to get a same day appointment to look at my dog's paw. I called when they opened at 8 and Blythe was super helpful in getting my on the Urgent Care list. Within 20 minutes I was called back and scheduled for 9AM! Both times I have come in I am escorted to a room with my pet within 2-3 minutes of arrival. No waiting around in the lobby like my old vet. Within 2-3 minutes a vet tech was there to start the process, today Blake got all the info logged and moved the process along quickly. Quick, but still with genuine care. Just a few minutes after that Dr. Wichman came in for the exam. She was great with my dog. All vets are expensive - full stop. That said, on both occasions where I have had an unexpected need to come in, they have provided options. They explain priorities and work with me to give my pet the best care I can afford. I really dreaded going to my old vet...hint sounds like bilvan borners. CH Pet Hospital is a breath of fresh air! I highly recommend their services and know that we have found a great new partner in our pets' healthcare.

The staff at Citrus Heights Pet Hospital are incredible. They have never failed to help me get my pet what I needed, and in most cases go above and beyond. Dr. Brickson is so good at her job. I never left their office feeling like I needed more information or had questions unanswered. My dog loved the staff there too. Usually I would have to walk her to the door to go in the back, but after the first visit I never had to do that again. As long as I live in this area I'd take my pets to this clinic.

Nicest staff & vets in this office. I’ve gone to a lot vets in my life but this vet goes above & beyond! They are close to my home too. I have nothing to say but good things about this whole office. Their prices for my dogs are very reasonable too.

So I called in thinking that I knew what was wrong, like I'm sure most pet owners do. However, instead of being jerks and giving me the run around with "will depend on many factors we can't know until we get them in to see then" - Instead, they just gave me a quote for what I was asking for and set me up an appointment. And then when I got in, I got the exam done, and they told me what was actually going on, and got everything handled for less than $120. So I highly recommend them, and so much appreciated them answering my questions. Every other vet makes it difficult to find the best price to distance ratio - but use these guys, they will do a fine job.

Our dog began choking tonight while eating his food. In a panic, I rushed to the nearest open vet clinic for help. He was breathing again by the time we made it there and they still took him back and checked him out for us. I just really want to give a heartfelt thanks to the staff and doctor because I know they didn't have to do that and it really meant a lot to our family. ❤️

This place will do anything to get you for your money. Their policies are ridiculous. Definitely moving on to a new vet.
