Chico Pet Vet

Our 11 year old Bull Mastiff developed a UTI with blood after 1:30 on a Friday. Her regular vet and back up vet had no openings available. Chico Pet Vet was able to squeeze her in as an emergency and see her before close. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming and made the whole process as easy as possible. Our Stormy loved the people there and they took such good care of our old girl. I would recommend them 100%!

I cannot speak highly enough of this vet. I adopted my two dogs from Wags and Whiskers next door in 2020 and 2021, and since then, they have gone above and beyond to help me ensure my dogs are as healthy as possible. Both have needed surgeries, and every time Chico Pet Vet did an INCREDIBLE job, for a fraction of the cost that the vets in my area were charging. They are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful and highly qualified. As proof, I will drive three hours each way to have them treat my dogs -- they are just that good.

DVM Lewis and her assistant Megan are two of the most wonderful people in the world. I could literally spent hours talking about how awesome they are. We are so very happy with Chico Pet Vet. We are also looking forward to meeting the new veterinary DVM Armor.

This vet is so caring, patient, and understanding. I have never been to a better veterinary! Dr. Lewis is AMAZING! She listens, responds, and genuinely cares about her patients. She gets on the ground with the pet and listens attentively to the reason for the visit. I absolutely recommend this vet to ANYONE who has a pet! Seriously!!

The staff was very kind and professional during our visit. They made the process of putting our dog down as smooth as possible and were easy to work with throughout. We appreciate their care and support.

My dog Danno and I think Pet Vet is great! One thing I appreciated was how they told you the cost of each thing before they added it on, instead of acting like you could afford whatever they charged you. Doctor Lewis was very nice and calm with my nervous dog and she was easy to talk to. They had the injections and even a blood draw done without my dog even noticing. All of the assistants and staff were cheerful and friendly. The front waiting area is pretty spacious and has a nice selection of quality, bargain-priced treats, toys, leashes, etc.

All the staff at Chico Pet Vet were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Due to all the various uses, brands and pricing on pet meds figuring out what meds to use can be very overwhelming. The staff took time to help me sort out what brand of medication would work the best for our situation and offered various options. I very much appreciated their patience with me and my anxious pet. The service here was very good so I would absolutely recommend Chico Pet Vet.
