Dr. Juarez-Law and the entire WLV team are highly knowledgeable and very clearly care for the wellbeing of both of my cats. I never feel that they are rushing through the appointment, and I always feel that the team’s entire focus is on my pet during their visit. The team is thoughtful and considerate about all of my questions. They always thoroughly explain options, the pros and cons of each option, costs, and turnaround estimates with me upfront. I never feel surprised or uninformed. This is why we have kept coming to WLV after moving out of downtown - because I know my cats have the best care with WLV.

The doctors here are VERY knowledgeable and truly care about their patients. The dental day open house was an amazing experience. I had several questions at each station and they were all welcomed. Those questions were met with grace, professional knowledge, and passion. All 4 of my dogs have been patients here. From the easy goers to the anxious ones, the doctors and their team knew how to adjust and adapt to ensure my pets didn’t experience any unnecessary stress while still being able to proceed with the procedures.

WLVC has the best Veterinarians and technicians in the city! No matter who had seen any of my fur babies they were always pampered and loved. Special shout out to Dr Osborne & Dr Juarez for always looking out for my babies! ( seriously though, all the doctors are unique in their own ways, but such badasses with what they do) Sal , Taylor , and Haylee have been wonderful assistants making things easy to understand during appointments , and to all the rockstar technicians who helped with slinky’s spay & xochitls dental! Your pets are in great hands from start to finish.

My girl fur baby was attacked & injured by another dog on 9/23/2025. I called around to various urgent care facilities but West Loop stood out among them all. Of course I was a a wreck after the attack. I couldn’t stop crying as I talked to the receptionist. The compassion and kindness given to me, over the phone, touched my heart. We entered the office and felt at ease. The entire staff provided excellent care to my baby & myself. Now, the fur baby is healing. The phone calls received from Dr. Winson & staff following our visit put the cherry on top of sincere care. Thanks so much for helping us!! Alicia & Bella (the fur baby)!🐾

Dr. Winson was absolutely incredible with our cat, Sadie, when we brought her in on suspicion of her getting into some lillies that could've been lethal to her. Dr. Winson was incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate with us. She patiently explained everything that she was analyzing on Sadie's bloodwork and panels and kept us updated regularly through a very stressful and emotional experience. I could tell she genuinely cared and was concerned about Sadie; this level of compassion and empathy is rare and made me feel so comfortable and confident that Sadie was well looked after and would get the care she needed. We did not have to wait for a single minute once we arrived with Sadie and explained her situation, they identified her as a high-priority patient due to the severity of her incident and saw her immediately. I am so grateful to WL Vet Care, from the receptionists to Dr. Winson. Everyone was so kind and communicative throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend this clinic and Dr. Winson highly enough!

WLVC is where I've taken my Frenchie for the past 4 years; and he's always been well taken care of. Taylor from my most-recent visit, in particular, was so good with my dog, he didn't want to leave!!! I highly recommend this clinic for your pet's needs.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but RUN AWAY from this practice. I’ve never felt such utter distrust toward a medical professional—human or animal—than I did after visiting this office. This experience runs across multiple visits. The overwhelming impression is that every interaction is designed to maximize revenue, not to arrive at the most likely diagnosis or best outcome for your pet. In my experience, the doctors are incentivized to recommend the most expensive path possible. Even when a common, straightforward explanation is staring everyone in the face, the first recommendation is a long list of costly tests to rule out highly unlikely scenarios before offering basic treatment. Every issue seems to follow the same script. For example, if a kitten presents with what appears to be a routine case of conjunctivitis, you’ll be pitched hundreds or thousands of dollars in testing before receiving medication. It becomes difficult to believe the recommendations are being driven by medical judgment rather than profit motives. The result is a level of distrust I’ve never experienced with any healthcare provider. This business model is deeply distasteful, and the practice deserves scrutiny. I’ll say it again: I have never felt such distrust for any form of medical practitioner before visiting this place. Find an independent veterinarian and save yourself the frustration. These private equity backed practices are a stain on our community
