We had such a great experience at this vet office. The space was spotless, welcoming, and calm from the moment we walked in. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and kind, which made the visit feel easy and stress free. Dr Paige was amazing with BonBon. She was gentle, patient, and clearly cared about making BonBon feel comfortable. BonBon absolutely loved her, which says everything. We left feeling confident, supported, and so happy to have found a vet we trust. Highly recommend!

I've taken my cat and dog to Portage for a few years now. The service and kindness is remarkably appreciated. When my cat had to be put down, they sent a card and were incredibly empathetic and professional. This week I took my dog because she wasn't pooping and was in pain. I felt heard as I advocated for my beloved dog, and they took the time to answer my questions and let me ramble. I recommend Portage Park Vet to anyone and everyone. They are professional, clean, empathetic, and respectful about options of care. I wish I'd taken names, but everyone from the reception to doctor have been nothing but excellent. When I needed to give medication to my dog and forgot peanut butter, one of the admins gave me some of hers. That's caring!

The staff was super friendly and very informative. My baby Dexter (Yorkie) is always nervous but they were great with keeping him as comfortable as possible. The cost was reasonable and definitely worth the quality care my baby received.

We've had two of our cats' teeth cleaned here, and it's gone very smoothly each time. No complaints. Prices aren't low, but they're pretty average for a vet these days.

We took our 15 year old mixed Pitbull to Dr.Tobin. Our old guy still gets set off by rabbits and he went full throttle at two rabbits and pulled a muscle. Plus he is very arthritic and was placed on the proper meds. Pepper is taking it easy and recovering nicely. Thank you Dr. Tobin of Portage Park.

My childhood best friend used to bring her dog here. Now I bring my pup, and I'm glad I do! The staff is kind, friendly, and professional. They truly treat you and your dog with the utmost care. They listen, they're thorough, and they take the time to address any concerns and explain results. Their prices are also very reasonable. I trust them to provide care for my dog who means the world to me!

First vaccines and exam visit for my cat went perfectly! Everything was explained thoroughly, and all service fees were presented when asked, unlike other vet offices! Gentle medical staff and doctor made our visit a breeze(: thank you guys!
