Visited the first time last week when my dog was experiencing symptoms of a UTI and my usual vet didn't have any openings. Staff was very welcoming and informative and made me feel really comfortable. They even reached out to follow up that same week to see how she was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. Happy to know Juno has more options for vets

Our cat Gus has been going to Family Pet since we moved to Chicago in 2021. Every person I’ve met there clearly loves animals and are consistently in a great mood, and they do their best to make Gus feel calm and safe in an unfamiliar environment. The doctors and vet techs in particular are amazing with him and I feel as though he is thoroughly taken care of. The clinic is very clean and cheery as well. Wouldn’t change vets for anything!

Dr. Cassidy Alvarez answered all of our questions regarding my cat getting diagnosed with asthma. Took x rays and tests super quickly and with ease, and the checkout process with Jackie was smooth and easy. Highly recommend coming here thanks to the caring and helpful staff.

Family pet is an absolutely wonderful veterinary practice! We have been bringing our cats here for the last 5 years and we are very very happy with the care they receive there. Everyone on staff is very kind, very attentive, and genuinely cares about our cats. Some of our cats have needed surgery and we received excellent referrals and got that all taken care of. I have referred friends to Family Pet as well. I absolutely would not take my pets anywhere else!

I have been a client at Family Pet for many years and wouldn’t take any of my pets anywhere else for their primary care/urgent care needs. The doctors are compassionate and genuinely listen to my concerns and answer my questions (shout out specifically to Dr. Gonzalez), and the staff are equally as exceptional (Jim is legitimately a customer service superstar, Casandra is always quick to respond to all of my inquiries and is always courteous and thorough, and Tony is always up for handling my rambunctious dog for all of his frequent tech appointments for Cytopoint injections)! Dr.Guterrez was very kind and patient. Piper received an extremely thorough examination! Dr. Guterrez used a medical model to explain an orthopedic concern.i hope that she will be Piper’s veterinarian for many years. Technician Erica was gentle and firm and Angelica at the front desk was very helpful.

Family Pet Animal Hospital has been our go to since our dog was a puppy! Our dog was diagnosed with immune-mediated polyarthritis before the age of 1, and struggled with painful episodes of lameness and joint inflammation. Dr. Gutierrez was excellent at providing compassionate and supportive care for our dog. She was extremely thorough when explaining the pathology of his disease, and our treatment options. Every treatment option was patient centered, and we never felt like we weren’t part of the conversation. She went above and beyond to answer our questions, communicate with his care team (including outside Vet specialists), and provide resources that helped us manage his inflammation. Everyone we’ve worked with at Family Pet Animal Hospital has been fantastic. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
