BLVD Cat

I love BLVD Cat! We tried a few vets before BLVD Cat and some were ok, some we didn’t like, but I have nothing negative to say about BLVD Cat. It is really easy to make an appointment. I like that they have some medications on site so I can get them right away. They’ve also been very good at helping me get medications through outside pharmacies. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they all obviously love cats and are so knowledgeable about cats’ needs. The office is so cute and thoughtfully designed to make cats comfortable. We’ve mostly seen Dr. Blanchard, who is so kind and really takes the time to explain options based on recent research as well as what might be best based on my cat’s personality. Whenever I have questions I can call or email and I know I will get a prompt and thorough response. I really think moving to BLVD Cat is helping me make sure my cats have the best possible quality of life. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

BEST. CAT VET. EVER. We have had terrible experiences with our (spicy) Russian Blue at a different vet in Chicago, and we were dreading renewing his rabies vaccine. We were floored that Dr. Blanchard at BLVD Cat was able to administer his new rabies vaccine without any burrito or gloves involved. This vet is so calm and full of employees who are very clearly cat people!! The rooms are so cute, with little perches, bird noises, toys, and lots of Churu! No dogs allowed, to keep the lobby and sounds peaceful. We are so so grateful to the BLVD team. We loved the River North location too, but it cannot beat BLVD Cat!

We loved our visit! The staff are welcoming and very thorough from start to finish. The clinic itself is super clean and very pretty, which is a plus! Kiwi Jolene will be a returning patient (: Thank you!

We love our vet! The offices are cute and calming. They are designed for cats, and it feels so special. We feel cared about, special, and heard! They have always followed up or checked in. They listen and do not judge. From the front desk, vet techs, and drs, everyone who works here is fantastic. Notes go for BLVD next door too, you don't know it, but you all are some of our favorite people. Thank you

I FINALLY FOUND A VET I LOVE! Every member of the staff was so lovely, and you can tell they’re all obsessed with cats. The doctor answered all my questions throughly and really took her time. An annual checkup (no vaccines) and blood work was under $200. I have nothing bad to say about our experience, and I’ll be taking Pumpkin here as long as we live in Chicago.

Blvd Cat was an amazing experience. Dr. Blanchard and her staff were absolutely wonderful. They did an astounding job taking care of my cat and making decisions in his treatment that helped him remain comfortable. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking!

I wanted to leave some comments on how thoughtful and thorough the doctors were with my cat! At a previous vet, it was suggested that my cat receive eye removal surgery at the same time as dental surgery. When I asked about this with Dr. Blanchard, she thoughtfully suggested that this may not be the best course of action, and that a dental procedure, alongside the specific procedure for her eye, may cause infection. I am so glad I got this second opinion! Dr. Muñoz examined my cat fully for the surgery. She confirmed that a dental wasn’t needed at this time anyway, and gave me a full rundown of how the eye surgery would go. She was incredibly thorough in all her explanations, patient with my cat, and followed up quickly whenever I had questions. Everyone here is so so sweet and always helps with any of my random questions! Mallory at the front desk has been incredibly quick at getting back to me on emails and prescription requests. My cat loves the calming environment here, and I’m constantly recommending this place to cat parents. This is truly the best vet experience we have had!
