Animal Medical Center of Chicago

We’ve had such a great experience with this vet for our (almost) 13-week-old golden retriever, Vern! Scheduling is super easy, and we’ve never had an issue getting an appointment. I also love their texting system, so helpful when you need a quick answer about scheduling etc. We see Dr. England, and seriously love him. He’s super personable, great with Vern, and always asks good questions to make sure he really understands what’s going on. The vet techs are all amazing too 🙂 they’re always so sweet and seem so excited to see Vern, which makes every visit feel really positive. Highly recommend!

Animal Medical Center of Chicago has been amazing. We came to them after a bad experience at big brand vet. We have never ran into any issues with them, every nurse and doctor are super kind and you can tell they enjoy their job. I would suggest them for anyone who needs a vet in the chicago area. They've taken care of her for her spay, and gave her a cute little onesie instead of a cone which we loved. They also habe helped with her digestive issues and just general care. Very satisfied!

Dr Donna Sullivan and her staff are just the best!! My cats are a handful at the vets. My 2 cats were handled with care and everything needed was accomplished. I have been going to Animal Center for many years…25-30 years? with all my cats. I don't want Donna to ever retire.

I love the Animal Medical Center of Chicago! They take such amazing care of our two dogs. The staff is so responsive, caring, and knowledgeable and the doctors are amazing. It is definitely pricier than other vets I first tried when I moved to Chicago. But it is 100% worth it for me. You are able to reach someone when you call (LOVE the front desk staff and practice manager), you can schedule emergency and non emergency appointments in the near future, the doctors spend time with you and are not rushed and answer all of your questions, and you can text pictures and messages and get responses back quickly in between visits or as follow ups to visits, medication onsite, etc. etc. When my dog was attacked by another dog at daycare, they squeezed her in for surgery immediately and did such an incredible job with her care ❤️

Had a FANTASTIC first visit with our senior dog with lots of health issues. The team spent so much time with us, handled our dog with so much care, and was so attentive to our needs. We appreciated their transparency in terms of pricing and collaboration to identify top priorities. So glad we found our new vet team!

Dr Janik and the Animal Medical Center team were extremely helpful, responsive, and caring while we worked to figure out my dog’s diagnosis and treatment plan. I have never once felt that unnecessary procedures, products, or tests were being pushed on me here. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing veterinary care in Chicago. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I have nothing but good things to say about this vet and its wonderful staff! When I found a pregnant cat and suddenly went from 1 cat to 6, I had no idea what to do! The staff at AMCOC were so helpful and kind, getting everyone the care they needed to thrive. Dr. Simpson, Dr., Behnke, William, Jo, and SO MANY other members of staff have been beyond caring and attentive to my pets, and I appreciate it more than anything. When my adult cat needed dental surgery, they went above and beyond to make him comfortable and calm. If you want your pets to have the love and care you would give them, this is your vet.
