Avenues Pet Clinic

Have been a customer for nearly 25 years now, with a number of furry kids in that time. Avenues have always done their best to take care of my animals. Any number of the Dr's and staff have gone above and beyond to deliver top notch care. Today was no exception. My dog woke up in significant pain. Called them at 7am, was given a 9am appointment by Tosha. Dr. Scott was very thorough and pleasant. He spent time explaining his diagnosis and sharing the x-rays and lab tests. For short notice, he didn't make us feel like an inconvenience. Thank you, Avenues, for always providing top quality care for my animals.

I am beyond devastated and deeply disappointed in the care my dog received from Ashley Jones, DMV. What should have been a place of help and medical guidance turned into one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I trusted this clinic with my dog’s life. Instead, I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and questioning the decisions that were made regarding his care. There was a lack of urgency, inadequate communication, and I did not feel that all appropriate options were thoroughly discussed or pursued. Shortly after being under their care, my dog’s condition worsened, and I ultimately lost him. The grief of losing a pet is unbearable and the added weight of wondering whether more could have been done is something I will carry forever. Pet owners deserve transparency, compassion, and proactive medical care. I did not receive that here.

Took my senior dog in because he was limping and had low energy. He was given x-rays and we were told he had arthritis. After several visits lots of meds and frustration he has only declined with no real answers. Come to find out they x-rayed the wrong leg on the first visit and he was misdiagnosed. He has been suffering and dying before our eyes for 2 months and when we took him back in this last time. We were told "We think he has cancer, does that answer your questions?" absolutely NOT! It only raised more questions! Does he have cancer or not? They’ve run 2 separate blood tests and said everything looked fine. We were then told they made the same mistake with someone else’s dog! My dog is no longer able to walk on his own has dropped an alarming amount of weight and all we get is " We think this is the problem" If you love your pet DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!

I will always recommend this place to pet owners. My pup passed suddenly and tragically some years ago and they were SO good to me thru the whole thing. I will never forget and will be forever changed by their kindness. I still get an email every year from them on my lilo's birthday. If I could give more stars I would.

I will never forget how this clinic made me feel during one of the most stressful moments as a pet owner. My cat had just been hit by a car, and I rushed him here hoping for immediate help since it was the closest to my home. Instead, I was turned away--even though there was a vet present. I was panicked, scared, and desperate for someone to help my pet, and instead I felt dismissed. In that moment, compassion mattered just as much as medical care, and neither was offered. I hope no one else has to go through what I did here. When your pet is suffering, you need a team that will step up--not send you away. Honestly shame on Cheyenne in general for no emergency pet services. It was 5:30 on a Thursday and to have to drive my suffering cat to Fort Collins was torture for both him and me. But mostly shame on the vet who was there who lacked the ability to stay five minutes longer to help a suffering animal.

Dr Scott took great care of my cat Maverick. He was so happy with his progress he picked up my cat and gave him lovins. He genuinely cares for your pet. Would highly recommend
