I would not take my dogs anywhere else. Dr Campbell is the best veterinarian I’ve ever used. He is kind and thorough he listens to your concerns about your pet and expertly treats the condition. The staff is great and always ready to help and answer questions you may have.

Best Vets and Clinic in Hampton Roads! Kind staff and committed, experienced Professionals. They have taken such amazing care of our cats and Bernadoodle. I will never forget their compassion and care during the loss of one of our fur babies. Could not ask for better. Thank you Edinburgh!

The boys (Jake and Max) always love to come for their "mani/pedi spa days", and check-ups! Lisa, Catherine, Debbie, Ricki, Jamie and all of the staff are always friendly, caring/empathetic, professional, and knowledgeable…they’re the BEST! I have been a client for almost 7 years, and it is always a pleasure for the boys, as well as myself to visit Edinburgh Animal Hospital.

I found Edinburgh Animal hospital when I was fostering a dog and the rescue had me take her to them. I was incredibly impressed by the warmth of their front desk staff. I was even more impressed by the Doctors who took their time to examine the pup and answer all my questions. I felt heard and not rushed. I decided to transfer my own pet to them from a "fear free" clinic. The fear free clinic felt like a scam because they were not only exorbitant but also incompetent. Edinburgh was a clear choice for my pets care. Not only are they wonderful, they are incredibly affordable. I have since adopted another pup and trust Edinburgh with her care from first vaccines to panicked phone calls when she gets into something. I cannot recommend Dr Shane and Dr Russo enough. If I were to guess all their other vets are probably equally wonderful! It’s a bit of a drive for me to get to them but it’s totally worth it! I’ve included a pictures of the staff with my Foster pup on our first visit. They all came up to pet her after she jumped up on the desk! Just look at their joyful faces!

My pets started coming to Edinburgh when my favorite veterinarian, Dr Hundley, transferred into the practice. Every single person you encounter in this practice is genuinely happy to be there and happy to help. I value the opinions and treatment my pets and I receive from the members of the practice. I am never treated as just another client.

I truly don’t have enough words to thank this animal hospital for the care and compassion they showed my dog and me. When he began having seizures, I was completely overwhelmed and terrified. Lisa, the head of reception, calmly talked me through everything over the phone during his first seizure. They spoke to me with such patience and empathy, explaining what was happening and what they were doing every step of the way. Even in the chaos of the emergency, they made me feel supported and reassured. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and they truly understood how much my dog meant to me. Over the following months, Dr. Shane worked closely with us to adjust his medications and monitor his condition, helping to stabilize him and giving us more precious time together. His team's dedication, responsiveness, and genuine concern made such a difference during an incredibly difficult period. Although my dog ultimately passed away, I am deeply grateful that he was in Dr. Shane’s care during his final moments. He treated him with dignity, gentleness, and respect, and he showed me incredible kindness in the midst of my heartbreak. I will always remember how he helped both of us through something so painful. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking not only for excellent medical care, but for truly compassionate people who understand that pets are family.

The staff is fantastic! After every visit, I rave about the customer service to my friends and co-workers. Everyone is so friendly, caring, and compassionate. They always make my cat comfortable and well cared for.
