VEG ER for Pets

Everyone was excellent! Dr Juan was very knowledgeable and honest, and he collaborated with me to make sure that I was updated with what was going on and that I got everything done that I wanted to for my pet. The receptionist was super kind and attentive in making sure we were comfortable, checking in with us and bringing us snacks and drinks while we waited. All the nurses that worked with my pet were very empathetic and gentle with her to make sure that she was comfortable and getting the best care possible. I didn't have to wait at all to be brought back to the treatment area - they got started on her right away. My pet is a cat so we waited with her in an enclosed room to the side of the treatment area where she was more comfortable away from the dogs and able to walk about the room freely. We could still see through the blinds though what was going on in the hospital with the other pets that were there being helped and were given the opportunity to come to the treatment area to watch her being cared for.

Our puppy swallowed a sock tonight, and the staff took amazing care of him. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Everyone was knowledgeable, efficient, and incredibly sweet. We were able to stay with Rufus the entire time and watch everything, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend!

First time visit to this Emergency Pet Clinic. The Dr and staff were amazing; very caring and efficient and took excellent care of my pup. I walked straight thru the front door and into the ER and was able to stay with my pup as they worked on him! Even in his acute condition I was never separated from my dog and that made the world of difference to me! The Dr and techs were so patient with my overexcited, frightful and painful dog and kept me informed of everything that was happening real time. We had to leave Toby for -24!hours and during that time I was encouraged to call or come visit or even stay with Toby as long as I wanted. After he was stable and I left him I received multiple phone messages and texts with updates on him. Cannot say enough great things about this innovative vet practice!

I brought my dog in at 4:30 am and she was seen immediately. Unfortunately my dog had to be admitted but I was in and out in under 15 mins. They took great care of her and she’s feeling so much better. I especially appreciated the frequent text message updates as well as the security guard making sure I safely got into my car as I was leaving during the early morning hour.

This place clearly only hires literal angels. We took our Green Cheek Conure in last night/this morning because he was suddenly really ill. Dr. Tanya was so kind. She was honest about her thoughts on his prognosis but also didn’t give up hope. I truly believe they did all they could and I’m thankful they were with him when he passed. The staff that I spoke with AFTER his passing was also so kind and helpful. They truly care about pets. (Even 51g birds) Thank you! )they also did refund most of the prepayment as soon as he passed).

The team of compassionate pros at VEG couldn’t have done a better job taking care of our big fur baby on what was a traumatic night. They were so reassuring, thorough and explanatory through every step, and we would go anywhere else with our dog in the event of an emergency, though we hopefully won’t have to!!

They are pure angels! I came in during the middle of the night because my cat Kofi was very ill. The staff was so comforting, especially to Kofi who is very shy around strangers; I could tell they all love their profession. They provided great care and exceptional service. Even though it was a frightening experience for me as a fur mom, they made my visit better than Kofi's primary vet's office. They provided me with knowledge of what was happening, recommended care plan, and gave me things I needed for the time being. They truly went above and beyond, which I'm forever grateful for. Thankfully, Kofi has been getting better since his visit at this location. If your pet has an emergency, make it to this location if you can.
