We needed to get our cat looked at as he had some facial swelling. We made an appointment an hour before our arrival on a Saturday, and were greeted by Felicia. She had excellent bedside manner and you can tell she really loves animals. We were in good hands and saw the doctor in no time, and got our beloved cats some antibiotics. Thanks Urgent Vet, Felicia and Doc!

I never write reviews, but this is definitely well deserved. I took my pup to UrgentVet yesterday and it couldn’t have been better. Easy to schedule and as soon as we got there, they were already waiting for us. Everything went smoothly and they showed an immense amount of care, expertise and thoughtfulness. My dog felt so safe that she even took a nap while we were waiting the exam’s results. That is priceless.

UrgentVet has been exceptional, with a special thank-you to Dr. Evans. They’ve always been able to accommodate last-minute, late-evening appointments, often with little to no wait in a clean, calm lobby. The staff is consistently kind and compassionate, and we really appreciated the thoughtful follow-up calls after each visit. Our sweet Abby had been battling heart failure since November and recently crossed the rainbow bridge. It can be an incredibly anxiety-provoking diagnosis for pet parents, as breathing can change so quickly. During some of our most difficult nights, Dr. Evans was there for us with compassion, attentiveness, and expertise, also always allowing us to be engaged in shared decision-making. We were so thankful to have UrgentVet as an option, as opposed to rushing to the ER every visit. These past few months have been incredibly hard, but the care and support from UrgentVet staff, particularly Dr. Evans, made all the difference. We are so grateful for everything they did for Abby and our family.

We have an 11 year old Miniature Dachshund and we cherish her. We divide our time between Atlanta and Durham. When we're in Durham and need to see a Veterinarian, we use UrgentVet. They share, back and forth, the care of our Pet with our Veterinarian in Atlanta. It is extremely easy to reserve an appointment at UrgentVet with their Online Reservation feature. It is very difficult as part time residents to get an appointment with a conventional Veterinary Practice. And we have found all of the Personnel at UrgentVet to be extremely knowledgeable, caring and professional. It is a very pleasant experience to have our pet cared for there.

My dog was in distress and ultimately was out to sleep. The Dr and nurse were so caring and accommodating. I got an appointment right away and they took very good care of her up until the end. I was so thankful they were open when everyone in my area was closed. Thank you for making her last few moments peaceful and loving.

I was able to schedule an appointment within an hour of when I needed it. One of the team members met me right at the door and Call my pet by name. The team was very efficient and thorough always having time to answer my questions. I really appreciated the service I received and would definitely recommend it.!

Brought my cat in because he was showing signs of a bladder obstruction. They checked him immediately and were able to tell me it was not an obstruction, calming my nerves right away! They gave my cat lots of love and even called twice after I brought him home to check in. Price was 1/2 of what I’d pay at the emergency vet!
