Animal Hospital at the Crossing

When I learned that my baby , Teensie, had a tumor and an enlarged spleen that could rupture at any time I was frantic mess 2.0. The U of I wanted crazy money to perform the surgery. Money I didn’t have. So I went on a search and I found THE most wonderful place on Earth. The Animal Hospital at the Crossing with Dr Cappa (an angel on earth) and his knowledgeable staff. They were willing to do the surgery at less than half the price of the U of I. And Dr Cappa "squeezed " Teensie in to his next day schedule (on a day he normally doesn’t do surgeries). The communication between him and I was like no other. I knew every step of everything. And the he saved her life. He removed a 3.3 pound tumor and her enlarged spleen. I am forever grateful. Today she is a brand new dog feeling good. We are awaiting the pathology report and will deal with what we have to deal with, if anything . But in the meantime we are HOME!! She has a 2nd chance at life because of Dr Cappa. Somehow Dr Cappa and his staff felt how much Teensie meant to me and suddenly they loved her too. And it showed. Best. Place. On. Earth.

We love this clinic so much - They have the best veterinary care and grooming services. We take our pup every four weeks to be groomed by Alyssa who always does an amazing job and our puppy is always so excited to see her! The vet team is amazing and so caring to our pup and we recently got a kitten that we brought in today for his first appointment and their care, as always, was phenomenal. I 100% recommend their vet care and grooming services.

Our huge Cane Corso puppy does not cooperate for nail trims, at all. The grooming staff took charge and made quick work of his nail trim and were not swayed by his antics one bit! Thanks to their good work, they will be seeing him on the regular now- maybe even for a bath next time 🙂 Thank you!

I brought my recently adopted shelter dog here for evaluation. Amazing care! The staff were all Knowledgeable and helpful. The clinic rooms & lobby were clean and bright. The veterinarian took time to answer all my questions and give me guidance for this particular dog's current and future needs. I wasn't pressured into making decisions but I was given all the information I needed. Very thorough examination and assessment. So happy with this provider!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The clinic was clean and did not smell like a typical vet’s office. The doctor did a thorough examination on our St Bernard dog. She answered all my questions. She called me later with the test results and explained things well. Highly recommend this clinic.

Wonderful experience overall from the first phone call in through the appointment to check out. I could feel the professionalism and kindness in the team and providers. The office is clean and smells wonderful. The provider we saw was confident and kind. Their use of technology and patient communication is appreciated and effective! Highly recommend! Chommie and I Had such a lovely experience at this vet clinic. Every point of contact went above and beyond to make us feel welcome there! I’m sad I won’t be able to establish care permanently since i travel for work, but we will definitely be coming back if I’m ever back in the area 😀
