My two Dogs Oliver and Fiona get their grooming here and John Does an amazing job every single time! We have been to multiple groomers around the Cedar Valley and we have stuck with this one because wow! So thankful and so recommend this place.

I’m sure I’ve left a review before, but needed to leave another one! Having a dog with separation anxiety and car anxiety makes me leaving him at a boarding center very nervous. I took him somewhere else in Cedar Falls for boarding, and the SCREAMS he would let out when we were on our way there, to him practically chocking himself to run out when it came time to pick him up. We started to go to Companion because my dog gets vetted there and their amazing prices. He gets CALMER the more we drive towards the clinic, and he patiently waits to get brought to the boarding area and is SO happy to see all the staff, when we leave he’s calmer and waits to hear all of the goodbyes from the staff. Not only does that make my mind at ease when I leave him, but I know the staff are treating him with all the love and attention. Nothing but praise from me when it comes to Companion whether it be their vetting or boarding I recommend them to anyone with a pet!

I have taken my current and past dogs to Companion since 2012 and always received great service and clinical care. However, since the Nemmers bought the practice, my opinion has only grown even more. We have seen Dr. Ben on a number of occasions and I have always been impressed by his genuine compassion for the animals he treats and gentleness with them, his thorough explanations of observations and diagnoses, and that he is not afraid to refer-out for areas outside of his expertise. Those traits could be easy to take for granted, but have given our family a differentiated experience with Companion.

Have two Shelties and Danae groomed them both. I have not seen them look as good as they do. Wonderful job Danae. Very pleased. Recommend Companion and Danae.

I took my rabbits here recently for a check up and neuter and they did a great job. One of my buns had complications during surgery, but they kept an eye on him the entire time and were able to get him through and now he is at home being his usually goofy self. He and his brother are healing up great and, despite my best efforts, running around as if nothing happened.

We have taken our dog Murphy there for the last several years after a not so positive situation and have had great service. The vets communicate great with phone calls, the staff at the desk is very friendly and our groomer Erica is truly amazing. This is the 3rd clinic we have used after having pets for 25 years and they have been the best!

I took my dog in after getting surgery at the Vet clinic we’ve been going to the last couple of years. She wasn’t eating, was weak and stayed in the same spot all day. I was so worried that she was having post opp issues. The staff at Companion animal got me in the same day I called. They were very informative from the staff that answered the phone to the vet techs in the back! They gave me options and were also empathetic! That means a lot to me. Seeing that they take pride in caring for their animals! My dog started to be her normal self that same day once I administered her meds that they prescribed! I just want to thank all of you at Companion! I wish I could give you all hugs!
