Carroll County Animal Hospital: Figueroa Christina DVM

Dr. Jason Harden is one of those DVM's that takes the time it takes. His gentle and calm nature puts Smirnoff & Kiwi at ease every time we visit. Not only do our birds like him, but we do too! We are never "rushed" out the door and always leave having every single question and concern addressed. _________ As far as pricing, some services are slightly more expensive than our old exotic vet, but others are less. For example: Dr. Harden's office charged me more for Smirnoff's nail trim, but the exam fee & gram stain was less than our old vet. For the same 'visit' (exam, nail trim, & gram stain) even though the nail trim was quite a bit more expensive with Dr. Harden, our total bill was $20 less. All in all, I imagine Carroll County Animal Hospital is about the same price as everyone else; however, even if it was more expensive to see Dr. Harden, we would pay it for the simple fact that he never rushes in and out, but takes his time with our birds as if they are his most important patients of the day - and since there is nothing extraordinarily 'special' about our birds (or us), I imagine that is how he is with all his patients 🙂

This place should be out of business! I've experienced too much of trauma with my pets, joking entrance staff talking about pet owners while people in lobby, in an inappropriate way, that everyone heard them. Took them from early morning until after 7 pm to get sedated and summer cut my for my small terrier. They shaved all hair off her tail and it looked like a rat tail. Had to hand trim her all over because of the botched job. If you love your pet, don't take it here!!!

Everything was great and everyone was great. I truly felt everyone there was concerned and interested in taking good care of Tacy. She means so much to us all, so we couldn't be more appreciative of the care you give her.

The only time we have used them was when our puppy was acting very out of the ordinary and we knew something was wrong. While in the waiting area he stopped breathing and as soon as I said something to the desk there were immediately 3 people out from the back to take our puppy. They put us in a room and were very compassionate in the way the informed us and our children that they were unable to bring him back. They allowed us time to see him once they cleaned him up. I would highly recommend them. Passionate and Caring.

My first experience here with staff and care they gave my baby on his last time was great. I hate seeing my baby go and I had to put him to sleep, but they were very honest about the condition and made everything as comfortable as they could for him. They were very compassionate to us, I will always remember that and will be Thankyou. My boy is not suffering anymore.

I have been a client with Carroll County Animal Hospital for over 40 years. They have taken care of us and our 7 dogs though these years. We began with Dr. Bob Harden and we currently see Dr. Jason Harden. We have been and are currently very pleased with the care they have always given us. We just recently had to say good bye to our 6th dog and they were, as with our others, very caring, professional, and empathetic with the process. Their staff is very caring also. During those difficult times it means so very much! Thanks again Dr. Jason and Jo-Ann for being there for us with Bailey last week.

Simply the best! Their receptionists are caring and vets personal. They call to check-in on my fur baby after an appointment. Visiting the office is a breeze with their in-room payment. No more wrangling my pup at the front desk as I juggle a leash and fill out paperwork. 100% recommend!
