Dr. Ahmundson is absolutely amazing. She will go above and beyond to help your faithful friend. She understands every aspect, from your concerns to financial concerns, taking everything into consideration. She will offer you many options and even research the best for you. She truly cares and you can feel it each time she calls or sees your pet! I usually have very good experiences at this vet. Of course, a few times were not stellar, but for the most part, I trust my cats in their care! And boarding is great- expensive, but the caretakers are wonderful. They are very busy, so make sure to book ahead of time...if possible.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wood and her staff! Dr. Wood is incredibly kind, patient, helpful and understanding. She helped both my kitty, DeeDee, and me through an extremely stressful time. When my sweet 11 year old kitty suddenly got sick and needed treatments for several days, Dr. Wood took the time to examine her, run tests, explain everything to me, answer my many questions and ease my concerns. After our appointments, she called to follow up and make sure everything was going ok. I am so grateful for Dr. Wood and her team at VCA - special shoutout to Julianna, Kara, Kaitlyn and Michelle for their kindness and compassionate care!

I have had exceptional care every time I've visited this location. Unfortunately, my sweet cat has recently had back to back issues so seeing the same provider last minute is rare. Luckily, this location has a wonderful staff who take care of my cats needs everytime. Ive had the pleasure of meeting new staff within the last few months and everytime my cats needs have been met and my concerns have been addressed. Every technician, front desk staff, and veterinarian has been kind, courteous, and offered incredible care to my cat. While I do hope to avoid being such a frequent visitor, I am blown away by the overall care they provide. Thank you VCA and staff for always making my experience unforgettable. Your care for my cat and proactive approach is appreciated more than words can convey.

The good folks at Companion Animal Center have cared for our ridiculous dog since she was a puppy. She is always so happy to visit, and each time we walk through the door the sweet staff at the desk always step out to rub her belly and give her love. The vets have provided exceptional care, and Jennifer is our favorite dog groomer, always giving our puppy love, and silky bows.

We had a wonderful experience at VCA in Carmel on Saturday. Julianna was incredibly kind, gentle and compassionate with our dog, Buddy. Buddy was in pain and we weren’t sure if it was his toe or knee or hip or back. They worked us in what we are sure was already a full, busy Saturday. Dr. Zaniker made Buddy comfortable and identified the issue (hip joints). The communication back and forth was clear and helpful. Bill and Verna Boggs

I brought my cat Keeverson to see Dr.Johnson a few years ago as she was having neurological symptoms after eating a shrew and received excellent care. Dr Johnson was so caring, kind and knowledgeable. Today, I needed my 14 year old dog Roxy to be seen as she was refusing food and not acting like herself. The staff got me in within a few hours (on a Saturday) and though my dog ended up having a tumor that resulted in a tough decision, the staff and Dr were so kind to my daughters and I. They treated us and my Roxy with care and compassion, and I could tell they all truly love animals. This compassion is why I choose to come here for my pets needs. I live an hour or more south of Carmel and I won't use another veterinary office. Thank you for your kindness today. It is very much appreciated. -Tina Wood
