I don’t usually write reviews, but after our first visit to ARK Life Veterinary, I felt compelled to share this. Dr. Max Lotovsky is truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in with my Australian Labradoodle, Aaron, I could feel that this was a different kind of veterinary experience—calm, thoughtful, and deeply attentive. Dr. Lotovsky took the time to really understand Aaron, not just medically, but as a whole. There was no rushing, no generic explanations—just genuine care, patience, and a level of professionalism that immediately builds trust. He explained everything clearly, answered every question, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. Most importantly, Aaron was relaxed and comfortable the entire time—which says everything. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a human touch. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who truly cares, Dr. Lotovsky is on another level. Grateful to have found him.

We absolutely love Dr. Max! After doing lots of research, I brought my newly retired JFK beagle mix here in search of his forever vet — and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Dr. Max is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Recently, my dog had a mass removed from his head, and the entire experience — from consultation to recovery — was seamless, organized, and thorough. The whole team at Ark Life is hands-on and caring, with a special shoutout to Ivette at the front desk for being so helpful! Finding the right long-term vet was really important to me since my dog is a senior, and I’m so grateful we’ve found Buk’s forever safe haven!

On Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 I brought my dog Jagger to see Dr. Max Lotovsky after he had been throwing up Dr. Max immediately suggested x-rays and quickly discovered that Jagger had likely consumed something he shouldn’t have. Once it was confirmed that something was stuck in his stomach, Dr. Max wasted no time he did bloodwork right away and immediately referred us to the Animal Hospital (VERG). Thanks to Dr. Max and his amazing staff acting so quickly, Jagger is still with us today. I am forever grateful to have a second chance with my baby. It was a traumatic experience, but Dr. Max’s care, attention, and swift action made all the difference. Jagger is now back home, resting and doing well. This experience was a powerful lesson, and it reminded me that my baby is worth every single penny to have him safe by my side. Thank you, Dr. Max, and thank you to your entire team for your compassion and professionalism.

A year ago, our beloved Chihuahua had a heart attack. We came to this clinic in an emergency, and thanks to the professionalism and care of the clinic director Dr. Max, our little friend was examined in time and referred to a cardiology center, which truly saved his life. Since then, we have continued to visit the clinic for regular check-ups and tests to monitor our dog’s health. Every visit confirms that this is a place where people genuinely care. The entire team works with great professionalism, kindness, and attention to every patient — reflecting the high standards set by the director. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and compassion, and we highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners who want the best possible care for their animals. Even though our Korzhik doesn’t exactly enjoy his vet visits, we know he’s in the best hands with Max! He’s a great professional, and his team is just as wonderful—caring, knowledgeable, and truly loving towards dogs. We always feel confident that our pup is getting the best care here!

We got SCAMMED BEWARE!!! We were told $4 at our initial appointment for nail cutting, but they forgot to do it. So, I requested for them to cut my dog's nails in our follow-up appointment. However, in our follow-up appointment, we were charged $56 for nail cutting!!! They stated that it would've actually been $40 for nail cutting in our initial appointment, but we were charged $56 because this was a follow-up appointment which doesn't make sense. I may have misheard, but it is absolutely unfair either way to be charged $56 without knowledge of the higher price just because my dog's nails were cut at a follow-up appointment and not the initial one. There was no price transparency at all, we were not informed of this change. They refused to give us any kind of discount or refund which is absolutely outrageous since they had no transparent pricing which isn't ethical. To make things worse it was their fault that they forgot to cut the nails at the initial appointment so we shouldn't be charged extra due to their mistake!!! In addition, they added extra unnecessary anxiety medication for my dog. She is only ever anxious during vet appointments, and the medication was basically forced on my parents who didn't speak English that well! This place is extremely predatory with their pricing and not transparent at all, and it doesn't even include all of the upselling they do that increases your bill by so much!!! In the past as well we were charged so much money for an unfixed problem my dog still has! It feels like a factory where they don't actually care about your pets and only care about extracting money under the pretense of caring and extra protection. We will NOT be coming back.
