My pup Boorito was a patient of Dr.Buckley since 2 months old. To show how much she loves the entire team at The Pet’s Vet, Boorito to this day will literally pull me on our way to the vet from pure excitement. We moved out of state a few times and she still knows the way to the vet. Each time we came back to Boston, we were welcomed as patients, and I’ve always felt incredibly supported by the entire team. Boorito had an emergency scare at a young age, and Dr.Buckley was there to guide us through a long diagnosis until getting her emergency surgery for a foreign object. We also had our international health certificate done in record time with the team’s help, and whenever we visit Boston these days, should there be a need for a checkup, we’re always welcomed and receive the same friendly services. It truly is a remarkable place and I trust them deeply with the care of my girl. To the entire Pet’s Vet team, thank you for always being so warm and loving to Boorito, and for making it so easy to trust you with my most precious little girl. And to Dr. Buckley, thank you for always being such a wonderful, caring, patient, and fun human and for always answering all my questions with such dedication. We love the Pet’s Vet, and miss you now that we moved to NYC!
I had an appointment at this clinic and I am totally disappointed. I called two days before and asked about the international health certificate, and the receptionist told me it would be around $450, and that it might be a little more. I understand that it's difficult to give an exact price over the phone, but it would have been fine if it increased to around $600. Before hanging up, I said, "I just want to confirm with you, is it around $450 as you said?" and she reaffirmed that it was, and that it might increase if my dog needed any vaccinations. Today, December 24th, at the appointment, they said the process STARTS at $1000! I said, "A thousand dollars?" and then they showed me the fees, and there are some fees there that shouldn't be charged. I know this because every year I get this document at other clinics, and the government doesn't charge some of those fees. They said it was a government charge, but I know it's not because I came prepared with all the information I found on the government's own website. In other words, the prices they charged me now were dishonest and exorbitant! Look for another clinic instead of this one.
Dr. Buckley and her staff are so wonderful and attentive, I wish I could give them 6 stars. I'm used to huge veterinary practices that can't book you in for an appointment within the next week (sometimes two), which is not especially helpful when you're worried about your pet, but North End Vet has always had time for me, even for a routine checkup. The facilities are spotless and they make sure your fur baby is comfortable and looked afterward. Also really appreciate that they stay open later on Tuesdays and Thursdays in case you can't make it during usual business hours!
We love Dr. Buckley and her clinic staff. Communication and care are always top notch and it’s obvious the clinic is well managed. We switched from another vet and are so happy we did! Highly recommend the Pet’s Vet!
Dr. Shields and the staff have provided exceptional service to my cavapoo puppy, Jonah. Jonah received his first check-up and vaccines at the Pet's Vet North End. In addition to ensuring Jonah has a healthy start in life, Dr. Shields and the staff have been a wonderful resource for knowledge & advice during the appointments and in email check-ins. For example, advice on how to potty train and socialize Jonah while not fully vaccinated. I also appreciate that the location is a 4 minute walk. I HIGHLY recommend The Pet's Vet North End if you are looking for knowledgable and loving staff for your pet.
With an overwhelmingly anxious dog, Dr. Buckley makes us both feel in great hands and at ease for every visit - no matter the occasion. She is spectacular and really has a connection with you and your animal - I know she cares equally about baby.
Dr. Sara and her team are wonderful! My dog had a lot of anxiety with going to the vet but she was so distracted with all of the love and treats, she hardly noticed she got shots! They also were fantastic about following up after an unexpected visit for allergies! I'm so glad they've joined the neighborhood!
