Great experience! My Dogue de Bordeaux needed to have CCL surgery and I went to several different places for consultations. LeadER was clean and all of the staff was friendly and patient. They were always available to answer my questions. I had a nurse that I could call or text who provided me with updates for the duration of the surgery as well as for the evening and following day while he was under observation. The aftercare instructions were clear and the nurse stayed available for several weeks for me to text questions or photo updates of the incisions as they healed during recovery. The Dr called several times to check in on my dog's recovery and seemed genuine in his care for my pet. One evening I was there waiting in the lobby and saw a man come in with a stray cat who had been living in his neighborhood. The cat was very, VERY ill. The staff was extremely compassionate in how they assisted him. I found the whole interaction to be really touching as to how they handled it. I would highly recommend considering this Hospital. The CCL surgery is an expensive procedure. Do your research. From my experience, I would strongly recommend this hospital

As horrible as it is to experience your pet breaking a bone, Lead ER truly helped keep me sane throughout the entire process. Back in October, my then 11-month-old Italian Greyhound broke his leg after jumping off a high surface which was terrifying. We rushed him to the closest animal hospital, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredible. He required surgery and they were able to get him in very quickly. Their communication was outstanding, they kept me informed every step of the way. When he stayed overnight, I could text them and they would send me photos of him, which meant the world to me during such a stressful time❤️ Now it’s January, and he’s had his final appointment and is fully healed. He has a battle scar which is healing great and he walking and playing as if nothing happened! I’m so grateful we chose this animal hospital and to the doctors and surgeons that worked with us. The team is attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cares about both you and your pet!😊 I truly couldn’t have asked for better care during such a scary experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Really great experience here. Dr.Ziogaite and Veronica were nothing but amazing ! We were able to make an appointment for a surgery consultation for the next day and they took really good care of my dog. The place is also so clean and nicely organized. They even provided my baby with a little blanket. Although I was very nervous coming here, they eased my stress. Adding to my review: my dog ended up having to be hospitalized for two nights due to dehydration bc of some prescribed medication she got from her vet which lead to her having severe diarrhea . The doctors kept me up to date daily and anytime I called for an update they were so nice and answered any questions I had. Krystal was also so amazing throughout this whole process, so knowledgeable, kind, and comforting. I also thank Dr.Gerber for his kindness and looking after my sweet girl Tootsie, as well as Dr.Fellman. She is now home , thank you LeadER team for being reliable, fast, and overall great.

I lost my lovely boy Kai yesterday. We have fought for 3 months. When I say we I mean Kai, me, Dr Simona and Alissa. We were as a team. Unfortunately sometimes we can’t impact on circumstances. Kai was not only a pet, he was my family. He means so much for me. I’m really grateful to Dr Simona, Alissa and other staff for your kindness, support and dedication. I really felt you wanted to help us and I appreciate it so much. Dr Simona is a brilliant in veterinary. Moreover she is an amazing person. Alissa you are the kindest and caring person. Kai loved both of you and was so glad to see you every time. Despite my boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge I would like to say thank you. You did all you could, I know. Thank you.

My name is Lisa B. I am not writing you about my cat rescue. I would like to share about my experience with Leader Vet. Yesterday, we brought our dog Buddy in with an obstruction in his bowels. From the time I was greeted at the front desk to this a.m getting the good news from Dr. Gerber.....my experience was extraordinary. I realize ER's are more money, but Leader was very clear at every step of care to inform me of what is needed next and what it would cost. This is the emergency vet to go to if you have to.

We recently had to make the devastating decision to say goodbye to our beloved three-year-old Bengal cat Nahla, who was diagnosed with cancer. From the moment we walked through the doors at LeadER Animal Specialty Hospital Boca Raton, the entire staff—doctors, technicians, assistants, and front desk team treated us with incredible kindness, sincerity, and deep empathy. They handled our emotional situation with such care and professionalism. Every person we interacted with took the time to listen, answer our questions gently, and provide clear explanations without ever making us feel rushed. Their compassion was genuine and unwavering, even during such a painful farewell. They truly understood that we weren’t just losing a pet—we were losing a cherished member of our family. The level of support and respect shown to both our cat and to us was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our little one was comfortable and that we felt supported throughout the process. Their empathy and heartfelt concern made an impossibly hard day a little more bearable. We are so grateful to every single member of the LeadER team for their compassion, professionalism, and humanity during one of the toughest moments a pet parent can face. If you ever find yourself needing emergency or specialty veterinary care in South Florida, I cannot recommend LeadER in Boca Raton highly enough. They truly care, and it shows. Where do I begin? I guess when I was told at another Emergency clinic that euthanasia was highly likely. That they were unsure if we even had a reason to put in a fight. I immediately started asking different questions. "If anyone was going to save my baby tonight, who stands a chance?"… the same facility said LeadER. There aren’t words sufficient enough to describe the level of care my baby received here. She was suffering from a severe case of ITP. Bleeding internally badly, I saw no hope. Until Dr. Simona and her team stepped through Pocky’s exam room door. Yes, Pocky was critical they didn’t ever deny that. But does she stand a fighting chance? Also yes. This team saved my Pocky’s life (and mine). I will never forget the team that worked alongside her tirelessly. They never took their eyes off of her. They answered all of my questions and re-answered them when I asked the same scary question… just in a different way. When things looked dark, they were a light to me. All care was delivered promptly, professionally & carefully. It saddens me that I only know this team because of a tragedy, but it also makes me incredibly grateful that if any team was going to be my crutch during this trauma that it was them. From Meg answering my late night questions over the phone when I couldn’t sleep, to Genesis being good conversation and lifting my mood, to Katrina & Amanda being oh so patient as we were a mess and got payments figured out, to Dr Benbo, Sierra, Annabella, Caroline, Sabrina, Jay, Erik, Yoshi, Alex (and so many more who I forget the names bc my head was going through so much) who overlooked my baby all night long when I couldn’t be there…. & lastly my forever earth angel Dr. Simona who not only carefully thought out and presented Pocky’s entire treatment plan, but also held our hands through the entire process. This Google review will never be enough. I don’t think anything could ever possibly be. And I know I am forgetting so many names that I wish I could mention. My mind is a forgetful mess in the time of trauma. But please know, I appreciate every second. I will never forget any of your faces. You didn’t just save Pocky. You saved all three of us. I know the fight continues, but without you there wouldn’t be one.
