Dr. Scarpinatto has seen our almost 15 year old girl since she was 4 months. Ever since the first visit we trusted him. He is experienced, honest and always looking for the best options for our girl and us (as owners). He and his staff are friendly and professional. If you take your pets to see him, they will be in the best hands.
I've been taking my foster dogs to Dr Don for 20 years. He now cares for my older chihuahua, Luigi, and my hotshot Rat Terrier, Mr Chips. I trust Dr Don to always do what's best for my animals. He has helped foster dogs recover from serious problems when I thought they were beyond help. And when they had no more quality of life, he has honestly told me so. Dr Don is a good man and an excellent vet. I just hope he never retires because he is irreplacable.
I've been taking my pets to Dr. Scarpinatto for over 15 years. He has always been awesome and very reasonably priced. He and his staff are very compassionate and caring. Wouldn't take my babies any where else!
Don, From the moment we walked in, we were not acknowledged—no greeting or welcome. My wife and I sat in the front for approximately 30 minutes without any communication about what was going on or how long the wait might be. At no point were we informed that you were assisting an animal with a serious injury. From our perspective as customers, all we could hear was conversation and laughter in the back, which made the lack of communication even more frustrating. I want to be clear that the issue was not the wait itself, but the absence of communication. A brief explanation or acknowledgment would have made a significant difference and could have completely changed our experience. From a customer standpoint, I hope you can understand how this came across. With better communication, this situation could have been handled much differently. Unfortunately, based on how we were treated, we will not be returning. Xin Liang
I’m very disappointed and upset with this hospital. I made an appointment a month ago and advance to take my cats for a check up. The moment I walked in the door the doctor and the assistant didn’t greet me and said nothing, and they were at their front desk. I told them I came for my appointment and ignored me, so I sat down and waited for them for like 20 minutes without any response. So I finally asked them how long before my appointment is ready? The assistant said in a couple minutes with an attitude. Then I waited for 10 more minutes and walked out. DON’t COME HERE, the owner and staff here are rude and unprofessional.
I had a very disappointing experience at Best Care Animal Hospital. My primary concerns are twofold: poor and unprofessional communication and the observable decline in my pet's condition shortly following the visit. The communication from the staff and veterinarian felt dismissive and unhelpful, leaving me with serious doubts about the advice received. Crucially, I observed a noticeable worsening of my pet's symptoms in the time immediately after the appointment, compared to how they appeared upon arrival. The veterinarians communication was unprofessional and deeply inappropriate, in my opinion. I would not recommend this facility to other pet owners, and I hope this feedback encourages a thorough review of the current service standards.
All of the staff is so kind and they all make an incredible effort to help me & my kitties whenever issues arise. I’m particularly thankful for their demeanor and level of caution with my one cat who has severe anxiety (which they put her on Prozac for and she’s doing incredible now)! I’ve been taking my cats here for 3 years and have been consistently impressed by their knowledge and service.
