Swan Harbor Animal Hospital

I had an emergency today when my dog was hit by a car and needed immediate care. I found Downtown Dog Resort and Spa on McComas Street and rushed her in. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff immediately took action and got her seen. Everyone was kind, calm, and professional, and the facility was clean and welcoming. The doctor and his assistant took the time to explain her medications and next steps clearly and were very gentle and compassionate with her. I was also pleasantly surprised by how affordable the visit was compared to other emergency vet options in the city. I even learned they offer daycare and spa services at great prices. This was a very impressive experience, and I’m truly grateful for the care my dog received. I will definitely be back and highly recommend them.

I really appreciate Swan Harbor Animal Hospital! I took my two cats on separate days for check ups, vaccinations, dental work, and microchip detection/registration. Scheduling is so smooth- there's hardly a wait time. And theres a beautiful park near by that I waited at while my cats did their thing. I'm not proud of this but I arrived late to almost every appointment and even came late to pick my pet up but the staff always treated me with understanding and compassion and dont make a big deal about it. The staff have lovely energy and they were all so sweet with my cats. They were sweet with me too! Very comfortable and very professional and extremely informative. Vet prices are always sick and so thats why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 but this is the best vet I've been to thus far and I'll be staying here for a while ♡

I have been bring my pets here for years. First my 2 dogs Jax and Kit. Now my 2 cats Breezy and Luna. They take very good care of my pets and treat them like they are their own. The reminders are amazing bcuz I forgot when their vaccines expire and their team reach out and let me no the month they are about to expire.

I would definitely recommend Swan Harbor Animal Hospital to anyone with a fur baby. My tabby Ivy got into a fight with another cat and damaged her canine tooth. She was seen quickly even tho I did a walk-in and her dental surgery was explained and all my questions answered with no issues. Dimitri handled my Ivy with so much care that my usually nervous and flighty kitty was chill and I was comfortable with leaving her in the vets capable hands overnight. This is her the next day you cant even tell she had a procedure done, thank you Swan Harbor Animal Hospital.

I love the feeling of community that I get from this facility. The veterinarians are so knowledgeable and they make the visit feel less like a medical visit and more like a check in with close friends that just so happen to know so much about your pet's health. They're so good with handling my cat Pato, and I love coming in and seeing Shelby the clinic Tortoise. SO much to appreciate about this place, the people running the thing are great! Thank you!

Everyone at the office is kind and understanding. They take time to explain things to me, and I don't ever feel like they are trying to persuade me into something that is unnecessary. I'm always able to get an appointment quickly as well! I've never had to wait longer than 3 days for an appointment, and thats typically over a weekend. I feel like the people here genuinely care about my dogs and I. Feels like a true community veterinary practice, love Swan Harbor!

I can’t say enough great things about Swan Harbor. Everyone is so kind and compassionate. Their prices are reasonable and they offer walk-in urgent care for your pet in the event of an emergency. I highly highly recommend them for both urgent care and regular preventive and wellness services for your pet
