Dr. Papke & the rest of HVH staff are amazing! I've been taking my furkids to see Dr.Pake for years & was so happy for her when she opened her own practice. All my furkids love going to see her & her staff for their visits or just to stop by and say Hi...and of course all the attention & treats they get make their day even more😊 If your looking for an awesome & thorough vet with great staff, I highly recommend taking your furbabies to HVH!

Super exciting to have a vet so close by! So far Theodore (pictured) and myself are very happy with the Hampden Veterinary Hospital. These pictures are all from inside one of their cute rooms. The staff was extremely friendly, the whole building really beautiful, and the prices quite reasonable. I'll try to get some more pictures of the lobby and outside next time we visit.

I really was Impressed All Around. Great Experience for me and my feline! Was back again today. A little worried that I was not cleaning my Bella's ears as well as she needed. I called on the 8th and got an appointment for the 30th. The lady said she could put us on a wait-list in case someone cancelled. Today, the 9th, she called and said they had a cancellation if I was able to make it in about 45 minutes. I live pretty close by and said YES!!! I really like this place. Everyone there is so Kind. I really Appreciate it. Kind and Great at what they do! And my Bella Likes them too!

Shepard was a lil spooked on his first checkup visit here but felt very welcomed by the excellent staff. Very well maintained and clean rooms. The doctors and staff did a wonderful job explaining everything and their recommendations, and made sure to offer plenty of treats throughout the visit to reward Shep’s bravery!

Dr. Papke & team have taken care of my two cats since their office first opened. I can’t say enough wonderful things about HVH. They’ve treated my cats like their own, and are open, honest, and offer evidence-based solutions to my cats’ needs. I have seen them for both urgent visits and routine visits. When my older cat died, Dr. Papke took time out of her busy schedule to console me during my grief, and also sent me a condolence card signed by everyone in the office. With my younger cat, Dr. Papke has helped me be proactive about her healthcare so that she can live a long and healthy life. I am lucky to have such an amazing vet!

What can I say? They're just the best. My baby has been going there since right after they opened. The staff obviously adores animals and treats my pet like the queen that she is. She is getting older now and experiencing some health issues. Dr. Papke has navigated the situation with me while keeping me clearly informed and never making me promises about my animal that can't be kept. The potential cost of each appointment has always been shared up front with me, and my options fully explained. I am grateful for the team here keeping my baby comfortable for however much time she has left. Really thankful we have such a wonderful vet in our neighborhood.

Hampden Vet diagnosed a UTI in my dog, but missed a massive bladder stone during her exam (though they allegedly performed an ultrasound on her bladder to determine bladder size/fullness) resulting in an emergency vet visit to another provider. She is currently in surgery at another vet. Hampden vet, though the staff were warm and welcoming during the initial new patient exam, did no follow up to my family's outreach by phone asking for help and guidance after my dog passed blood in her urine. The front desk said a vet tech would CALL us back with further instructions, and ghosted us, so she went to an urgent care. I cannot recommend this place, though the staff were very kind during first impressions.
