Academy Animal Hospital

Tyler and I love this place. Staff super friendly and caring. Helped Tyler come back from near death. Was hit by a car Feb 2025 by June Tyler took really weak and ill. We called around and everyone was very expensive. Academy Animal Hospital is affordable and fast to get your pet back to health. Love this place.

Everyone at Academy Animal Hospital was so kind and accommodating for my spicy semi-feral kitty. She needed her teeth cleaned in addition to a general health exam. They understood that her "attitude" was a just a feature and they took such good care of her. They didn't charge us for any more than we absolutely needed, and we have complete trust in them for any future needs. Highly recommend!

Thank you to the full staff at Academy. Our dog was seen in a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and we had pleasant interactions with reception, technicians, and the veterinarian, Dr. Lewis. He provided accessible at home treatment options and in office options to manage our dog’s chronic issues. He also fit our pet in promptly for a surgery to remove a tumor.

We love Academy and have always been pleased with the care our pets receive! The staff is kind, knowledgeable and patient. Some things have changed over the years we’ve been coming but that’s going to happen anywhere you go. What’s important is that they care about us and our pets well being and work with us to take care of them. At our most recent visit the vet took time to listen to some concerns about my golden and decided to try out some new medication for his anxiety which I very much appreciated. Thank you for helping us take care of our furry crew! We appreciate you all.

The office makes simple tasks such as filling a prescription or filling out a health form incredibly difficult. I used to be willing to drive for more than an hour each way to see Dr. Lewis because the office was more affordable than places in Montgomery County where I live. Sadly things are too complicated and prices went up significantly as well. I spent more than $2000 at this place within the last two month and they are unable to fill out a paper saying that my dog had a vet exam within the past 12 month without me bringing the dog in again. I am very dissapointed and feel taken advantage of.

Very attentive and loving to my baby girl! Dr. Lewis provided such an amazing service to my Nico and out of pocket, it was very reasonable just for a check up! This is my cats new vet home and its just a mile from my house ❤

Awesome pet care! The tech and doctor gave great information and answered all my questions before I had a chance to ask them. I'll definitely be continuing Chya's care here.
