I had to rush my boy Cecil here two nights ago around midnight after coming home from work and finding him collapsed and not moving. They took him to the back immediately and kept us updated the whole time, explaining everything clearly. They really worked with our budget, and the doctor was incredibly caring and understanding throughout the whole visit. Cecil had gone into anaphylactic shock, but thanks to their quick care he’s happy and feeling much better now. Incredibly grateful for the overnight team!!

I am so grateful to this wonderful staff and nice clean facility for helping my kitty when their regular vet was closed. They were kind, attentive, and explained everything. The Doctor was absolutely great and special shoutout to Bonnie, who was the vet tech who was an actual angel. I hope you don’t have to come here, but if you do, I trust they will take good care of you and your animal friends.

Dr Gorley is the BEST!!!! We had an extreme emergency with our small pup A blood everywhere and the entire staff was so incredible n I can’t be more thankful. We were originally at another ER in Westlake but they saw no urgency in the situation. MedVet had our pup on immediate fluids and got her back to health quickly. Thank you!!!

We came to MedVet in a very difficult moment, as our dog Novak was in great pain and we were desperate for help. From the very first call, their team responded immediately and provided clear guidance on what to do, which gave us much-needed reassurance. Once we arrived, Novak was treated with exceptional kindness and care. The staff took the time to explain what was happening, helping us understand the situation during a very stressful time. After the surgery, we were able to visit Novak and were truly impressed by the facility. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with all the necessary monitoring devices to ensure his safety and recovery. Every person we interacted with at MedVet was kind, compassionate, and highly professional. We would especially like to thank Trisha for her outstanding care and support. We are deeply grateful for the attention Novak received and highly recommend MedVet to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care.

Wow, I can't stop thinking about the amazing help the team at Medvet Austin provided me. I was in a tight spot financially after a big move when my little guy needed to be taken in. Gilbert, at the front desk, started the exam immediately and kept a pleasant, calming demeanor. Next, Meaghan went out of her way to help me find a program that I was financially able to make work, to help my little guy better. Her and Dr. Altoffi, worked directly with me to get enrolled in the program to save my little guys life. I'm so grateful for the dedication and commitment from this team to help me. I was in tears when my little guy was going through it, and I'm in tears now, as I recount what the team did for me. Recommend 10/10 and I'll be sending everyone I know to you guys. Truly amazing people!!

I can’t say enough good things about this emergency clinic. I brought my dog in after a sudden snake bite, and from the moment we arrived, the team acted quickly, calmly, and with so much compassion. They immediately took control and reassured me every step of the way. Dr. Goldhardt was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, she explained what was happening and what to expect without overwhelming me. You could tell her and the staff working that night genuinely cared about both the animals and us as the owners. Even in such a high-stress emergency, the clinic was organized and professional, and they kept me updated throughout the entire process even throughout the night while being hospitalized. I’m beyond grateful for the care they provided and the kindness they showed during such a scary moment and hard loss of our fur baby. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs urgent care for their pet. They turned a terrifying experience into one where I felt supported and confident that my dog was in the best hands possible. My dog had been not eating for almost 2 weeks and throwing up. We had been to 4 different vets over that time and was referred here. Our dog at that point was pretty scared of vets, so he wasn’t easy to deal with but every person was so kind and understanding at MedVet. He had to have emergency surgery to remove a plastic squeaker that was stuck in his small intestine. He’s a week post op today and he’s back to his very hungry, and full of energy self. I can’t be more grateful for these kind people that helped during such an emotional time.
