I’ve been bringing my cat to the Cat Hospital of Austin for 7 years now (I think it’s important to take your cat to someone who specializes in felines) and have always had great experiences. The techs are great at handling and communicating, and I love to see the same faces at the front desk for all these years. Their hours can be a little annoying, but I appreciate that the time is dedicated to the team. Dr. Leland has always been clear about diagnosis and offers multiple treatment options, and has never been pushy about treatment or medications.

I love coming to this vet! My Sphynx has had a wellness check every year with them (3 years so far) and everyone is so welcoming and nice. They make scheduling an appointment so easy and straightforward. Dr. Percival and the team are also very knowledgeable and explain situations in depth if you’re unsure of anything. 10/10 would recommend to others with kitties

I had such a wonderful time here. As someone whose cat gets quite anxious at the vet, they were super patient and caring with him. Everyone was so kind and compassionate, and you can tell they truly love cats. They spent so much time answering any questions and are clearly very knowledgable overall. I would recommend them to anyone!

We’ve had such a positive experience at Cat Hospital of Austin. We have been going here for about 4 years now. Dr. Leland truly goes above and beyond in caring for our cats, especially with their ongoing conditions like CKD and IBD. It’s never easy navigating these kinds of health issues, but she takes the time to explain everything and makes us feel supported every step of the way. Her team of vet techs is just as wonderful, always kind, patient, and genuinely caring. You can tell they really love what they do, and it makes such a difference. We’re really grateful to have found a team we trust with our cats’ care.

I am so pleased we were referred to the Cat Hospital by my sitter. When I moved to Austin, I opted for Allandale Vet Clinic bc it was closer. We had a horribly traumatic visit and left immediately. In retrospect, I’m grateful for that because so far 2 have been misdiagnosed by Allandale. The level of care the Cat Hospital provides has been such a relief for our household of 3 senior kitties. It is obvious that they, too, are cat lovers in the way they handle the kitties. Additionally, I work and have a business- they’ve been extremely kind and understanding re: appointments, schedules, and drop-offs. One of the best features is that they’re available by text. This makes my life so much easier as we manage care.

Whether routine check or something more serious, It’s never easy to bring our beloved fur babies to the vet. But Dr Leland and the staff at CHOA show genuine care and compassion for each and every patient AND their human owners. Always feel like we’re in great hands when we’re there.
