I'm very disappointed I thought the clinic was the same as always. I’ve been client for years , I really liked the service my dog ​​received from the previous doctors; they operated on her twice for fleshy cysts, and the price was very reasonable. I took my dog ​​in last week for a checkup on another cyst that appeared, and I want them removed, but they told me the doctors aren't the same and that there's a new owner, which is why the whole system changed and the prices skyrocketed. They quoted me three times the price I normally paid. It's unfair that they do this to a clinic that already had its prices and clients like me who liked the service. Now I have to look for a new clinic with reasonable prices because, honestly, I can't and won't be able to continue being a client of Animal Medical Center of Austin with these drastic changes and high prices.

Recently made the switch to Dr. Greg bc he was highly recommended by friends. Well, he quickly exceeded my expectations. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable, nurturing… all the qualities you’d want in a veterinarian. His technician, Gracie, was very patient with our pug and made her very comfortable from the beginning. Reasonable office visit fees 🙂

I just moved to Austin and it was important for me to find the best care for my little 7 year old chihuahua mix, Benji. I happened to find Animal Medical Center (and their high ratings) on Google and am so thankful I did! Dr. Farmer and the two ladies who helped me (at the desk and the tech) were so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! Wait time - less than 10 minutes. Cleanliness - immaculate. A staff that agrees my dog is too cute for his own good - priceless. It's such a relief to know Benji will always have great care just a few minutes away from home in Austin! NOTE: Photo is obviously not from their office. Just adding an image of my handsome little lad as he stares out of my office window pensively, wondering if his shots will come with a side of treats. At Animal Medical Center of Austin, they do!

Update: So instead of approving the request for my dog's medication, they leave me a message to counter-offer to purchase from them instead and they will ship it. So now they're withholding medication and trying to force me to purchase from them. Luckily, I am able to get it somewhere else that can actually help. Very difficult to get actual support after switching to their ai voice assistant. Only options are going through menu selection or leave a message. I placed an order through Chewy last week and they still haven’t gotten any approval. I called Animal Medical Center and they said they haven’t received it and it usually takes a few days until they get it? I’ve never heard of a request that takes days for them to receive via portal. Chewy even tried calling them so we can get this order through but ai assistant wouldn’t allow. They even left a message. I asked front desk lady at Animal Medical Center if I can just pick up and they said if they don’t know if they have the capsule and that they will get back to me. Never heard back and now they are already closed.

I’ve gone to the Farmers for years and they are both amazing. They were there as I was losing my elderly cats and they’ve helped me take care of my new kitten needing some extra care. The remodel on the office is amazing now with cat specific rooms. Even down to the front desk coordinator is lovely and on top of everything.
