My baby, Alex, had the best team ever to assist in restoring his vision. It's been a long road and very painful watching my fur baby go from complete independence to being so unsure of himself and running into everything. I am so very grateful to Dr Sigmund for his knowledge, professionalism and kindness as he performed Alex's cataract surgery and gave him back the quality of life he deserves. I was given Alex's care plan in detail of what to expect during and after surgery, and informed of his surgical progress throughout the day. I was given very detailed discharge instructions along with his meds. Thank you April for always having the best spirit and always greeting us with a huge smile, sincerity and professionalism. I am thankful for the most amazing staff who always showed Alex so much love and compassion; Debbie, Kayla, Sarah, Emery, thank you so very much! I also want to acknowledge Dr Keenan for being there for Alex's post op care. She was extremely helpful in evaluating Alex's recovery and ensuring he was healing properly and comfortable. I am referring all of my family, friends and business associates to the Veterinary Eye Team for all of their pet's ophthalmic needs.

This is one of the best veterinary care offices I've ever been to. The space is so clean and spacious. The staff are super professional and so friendly. Their care for my cat was exceptional. I thought by regular vet was fantastic but these guys have equaled or even exceeded them. They have nice drinks that they offer. They have cold fizzy drinks and they also have tea and coffee. They have a restroom that you can use that is very clean. My cat had eye issues due to high blood pressure. They figured out that it was the high blood pressure causing it, they got her own the right medication, and they put some filler in her bottom eyelid to help it close properly. Properly. They basically saved her eye and the high blood pressure medication has made her oral much healthier. I can't recommend them enough. You can also go grab a coffee at PERC which is right next door. And there's a grocery store next door as well. Great location. Parking is easy in their parking lot or on the street. By parking is behind the facade that faces Memorial Drive..

Where do I begin? First and foremost, the office is absolutely beautiful and, most importantly, calming. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Sigmund is incredibly knowledgeable and such a reassuring presence when bringing your pet to an eye specialist. Sarah, the veterinary assistant, was kind and patient from the moment we stepped into the exam room. She took the time to explain every part of the exam so we felt completely comfortable. Most importantly, our dog was at ease, which is really the best thing you can ask for at a doctor visit. I would highly recommend them 🐾

A good visit to an excellent practice. Kind (to me), gentle (to my cat), expert (to his poor ulcerated eyeball), and professional (to all of these). Can't recommend The Veterinary Eye Team highly enough. (Pic of kitty in healthier times, bc nobody wants to see an ulcerated cornea.)

Drs. Sigmund and Keenan are my go-tos for my dog’s ophthalmology needs! My dog, Josie, had a grooming incident that required surgery and treating a corneal ulcer. Not only are they experts in their field but they are also extremely compassionate and understand the nerves involved when your pet is hurt. They treated Josie quickly and effectively. They are truly the best in Atlanta! 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Keenan and her team are absolutely fantastic! From the time I walked into the door, they made us feel comfortable, welcomed, valued and appreciated! They turned what could have been a horrible situation into visits we looked forward to following up for. As a medical practitioner, I appreciated her level of communication, knowledge and bedside manner. Unfortunately, due to the risk of multiple health conditions, My Frenchie has been a patient at a variety of offices. Sadly, this isn’t always the treatment that we receive. I am thankful that we have been able to find a provider that we can trust to provide her with the best care! The staff is also very personable and accommodating. I appreciated their upbeat attitudes and genuine desire to provide a helpful and welcoming environment.

Dr. Sigmund removed an eyelid growth from my soul cat a few years ago. I was not concerned at the time, but he suggested that we send the growth for testing to see if it was cancerous. It did comeback as cancer, but was very low grade and there has been NO regrowth! So thankful for his quick intervention and expertise!
