Oak Grove Animal Clinic

These folks are so kind, patient, and communicative. I had to bring my dog for urgent care today, and from checking in with reception to testing to treatment, I had positive interactions with every member of staff I encountered. I am so grateful for the compassionate care my pup received, and for the detailed responses to my many anxious questions. Our vet tech, Lake, was absolutely lovely, calming my fears and even taking extra time to help solve an issue with our insurance claim submission. I forgot the vet's name, but she was so patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She and Lake each made sure that I fully understood the diagnostic/treatment options before making any decisions. Attached is an image of Moose waiting at the door the vet had just exited through (hoping I'd open it for him so he could join her). It's a great sign when your dog wants to spend MORE time with the vet!

We brought our 6 week old puppy lastnight who had been diagnosed with Parvo at another veterinary service she wasn’t getting any better with the treatment they had given her and by the time we got to you guys, our puppy was in pretty bad shape The Doctor Who we dealt with was amazing in such a hard situation. I did not get or I do not remember his name. I would love to know that. I greatly appreciate the patience and the care that you showed me and my daughter, in such an emotional situation We definitely will be coming to see y’all with any new animals that we may get

I brought my dog here after a lengthy and expensive visit to another emergency clinic. Everyone was very nice and understanding but Dr. Jacob went above and beyond to help my little dog. He was he was so kind and reassuring. He’s extremely knowledgeable and has a true love of the animals he treats. He was warm and empathetic and truly brightened what had been an extremely difficult few days. Their prices were reasonable and I can’t thank him and his staff enough for the treatment we received.

What an amazing veterinary team! Oak Grove Animal Clinic is top-notch. They provide excellent care! Offer the best medicine and truly care about your pet! The hospital is clean, the staff is kind and helpful ! I highly recommend this vet hospital. You will not be disappointed. AND they have late hours for urgent care! It is such a great option for Athens and surrounding areas to have a veterinary hospital open until 11pm! Wow! Check em out for your pet's care! They have added a new DVM to the team! It helps with getting general practice appointments sooner! All the vets here are amazing. I love all of the staff!

Wow!!! What a staff!!! From the front desk, to the nurse and the doctor!!! So extremely courteous and caring. Our cat had broken claws from a dog fight and they helped get him back to health with pain meds and antibiotics. No surgery necessary! So grateful for the entire staff and the friendly service!!

I’ve been to a lot of vet offices, but none have made me feel as welcomed and comfortable as this one. The staff is so kind, transparent about pricing, and always go above and beyond. They take the time to listen and answer any follow-up questions, which I really appreciate. I first came here for an urgent care visit when my dog had a UTI, and more recently when she tore her nail. She has anxiety, but she’s always so much calmer here than anywhere else — they truly go above and beyond to make her feel safe. Even my cat had a completely different experience here compared to any other vet. They gave him a churu, and he had no idea he was even getting his shots — then he felt so relaxed he took a nap right there in the exam room. I appreciate this team so much. After that first visit, I switched to them as my primary vet. Couldn’t recommend them more! 💙🩵

This is my dog Winter's primary care vet and we have had nothing but great experiences with them! Winter is dog reactive and they have always been very accommodating to me and her. There is no shortage of treats in this office and they did everything they could to make my dog comfortable when she came in for her establishing visit and during sick visits. Winter loves getting pets from all of the friendly staff and even waits at the door for them to come in.
