Beyond grateful to the vets and staff. My very spontaneous, bad choice maker cat Oliver Fluffles likes to do things that is not so smart. However, this clinic has never let me down. They have provided all the options and recommendations without making me feel backed in a corner. Their patience, compassion, and knowledge have been beyond a blessing.

They take the time to get down on the floor with my dogs, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. I have a medically complicated cat whose treatment required a series of oral surgeries. After the successful completion of the first two procedures, my previous vet hospital was badly damaged by a fire. My cat needed the third procedure, but I was very nervous about going to a new vet hospital and did not think I would find another vet that I trusted as much as my previous vet. Dr. Bertelli really listened to me when we discussed what parts of her current treatment plan were working and suggested some changes that actually helped improve her condition. Dr. Bertelli and Dr. Hawkins did a deep dive into my cat’s previous medical records and collaborated on a treatment plan that maintained the continuity of her medical care, and my cat was able to have the third and final procedure needed for successful treatment of her autoimmune disorder at East Asheville Family Vet. The surgery itself was scheduled in a timely manner so that there was no delay in my cat’s care. After the procedure, both Dr. Bertelli and Dr. Hawkins reached out to make sure that she was doing well in the days and weeks following her oral surgery. As a conscientious owner I feel strongly that I found myself in the best possible situation for my cat despite having to suddenly switch hospitals in the middle of her treatment process. I could not have asked for a better experience despite how stressful it was to be suddenly in search of a new vet hospital to perform this procedure. My cat is a beloved family member and we take her health very seriously - the doctors and staff at East Asheville Family Vet clearly share the same sentiment and provided her with top notch care.
