Caring Hands Animal Hospital - Clarendon

I had a great experience at Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Clarendon and couldn’t be happier with the care my puppy received. Dr. Thornton was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly patient, kind, and took the time to answer all of my (many) questions as a new puppy owner. You can tell she genuinely cares, and that made a huge difference for me. The entire staff was professional, welcoming, and efficient. I didn’t have to wait long at all, and everything felt very organized from start to finish. What I really appreciated was that they recommended exactly what my puppy needed without pushing anything unnecessary. The assistant who helped us (I’m sorry I forgot her name) was also very kind and helpful, which made the visit even smoother. They also followed up promptly after the appointment to go over everything, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. This will definitely be my vet moving forward for my special little guy.

I did a lot of research before choosing this place. I have to say it's such a right decision! Everyone is super nice, from the front desk lady Kateryna, to the vet tech, to Dr. Campfield. The cost of care is reasonable and transparent. Highly recommend this clinic to everyone! Update: I was referred to internal medicine department for my cat's abdominal ultrasound. The team did an excellent job! Dr. Dowling was very thorough, attentive, and patient throughout the process, explaining everything clearly, and the follow-up care was timely and helpful. Katie is also super helpful, always responding to my email fast!

The Caring Hands team, especially Dr. Emond, have gone above and beyond to handle Luna’s care over the years. I have also had multiple accommodating experiences getting Luna sorted to travel abroad, and they’ve helped us manage her diabetes diagnosis very well in her senior years. Thank you!

Dr. Campfield and the entire Caring Hands team made the international export certificate process so easy! Our cat and dog loved her care and kind demeanor. So professional, yet so relaxed!

My anxious dog had a great visit with vet yesterday for annual checkup. She definitely practiced fear free techniques and refined them as she interacted with him based on his behavior. She also used techniques to make the vaccinations as pain free as possible. She took her time with him which was much appreciated. She also patiently answered the anxious dog owner’s (me) questions and gave me some practical ideas for addressing his challenges. She clearly had deep technical knowledge and discussed what works and what doesn’t from a clinical perspective. I think I found my new vet! The vet techs and front desk staff were very helpful as well. The cost seemed consistent with the going rate for an annual exam. I highly recommend this practice!

The care and welfare of my pup is paramount so I put a great deal of effort into finding the right veterinarian for my dog. Caring Hands in Clarendon has exceeded my expectations. I have no delays in getting in, her vets, Dr. Thornton, Dr. Emond and Dr. Kindig have been fantastic and listen to my concerns and don't push unnecessary treatments or meds. The staff knows us as soon as we walk in and are very welcoming and respectful of our time and any stresses on my girl.

I had recently adopted two kittens and established care with Caring Hands Clarendon per Kateryna’s advice. She promptly set up an account, obtained the records, walked me through the nuances of scheduling the young cats, patiently answered all my questions(some of them several times). These guys are true professionals! When we came to the clinic there were several dogs in waiting area and staff at the reception offered me to wait in a separate room so kittens are not stressed. We had a pleasure of meeting Dr. Campfield and the rest of the team. I received detailed answer to every single question I had. I felt welcomed and my kitties were very well taken care of! Highly recommended!
