Caring Hands Animal Hospital - Arlington

First time visit at this Vet and everyone was amazing. It’s always a little stressful bringing my big guy to the vet cause he is reactive to other animals, but the staff here was very understanding and accommodating. He got lots of treats and lots of love. The vet was amazing and listened to any concerns I had and made me feel very comfortable in knowing he will be well taken care of. Special shout out to Jaunice, Kayla, Mimi and Dr. Sampliner. Thank you ladies for all that you do for our fur babies. It does not go unnoticed and it is very much appreciated.

My name is rocky im difficult dog I’m so thankful to the wonderful team at Caring Hands Animal Hospital! They took such amazing care of my dog during and after his neutering surgery. Everyone was so gentle, professional, and kind — they truly treated him like family. The staff kept me updated, explained everything clearly, and made sure he felt comfortable and safe. I could really feel how much they care about animals. Thank you for giving my little one the best care possible! Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets ❤️🐶

I'm witing this review after we received a Certificate of Remembrance for our late cat, Bo, from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine that Caring Hands made in Bo's name following his passing. This means so incredibly much to us, I had to write this before I forgot. My husband and I truly believe we got another great year with our Bo (from age 14 to 15.5!!!!) thanks to the incredible care he received at Caring Hands for his hyper thyroidism (& some other issues). Bo was a slight little anxious old man, and everyone who cared for him, from the vet techs to the doctors, were absolutely incredible and gentle with him and we know he was so comfortable with them at every checkup and bloodwork appointment. Everything was explained so well and communicated so clearly to my husband and I regarding his treatment. I cannot recommend Caring Hands Arlington enough! Sadly, we are set to move, or we would be continuing to bring any future pets here for care. They truly are the best and we are so pleased Bo was treated so well with so much love and care in the final year of his life. We will be FOREVER grateful to Caring Hands Arlington!

We’ve been going to Caring Hands Animal Hospital since June of 2012 and they, by far, are the best in the DMV area! Dr. Maxey was wonderful! She took her time to explain her exam findings and options for care of my pets.

The folks here are so caring. They are very kind, considerate and supportive. Best vet ever, Dr. Emily Brooks. She has cared for all my cats and dog. She is knowledgeable, experienced, smart. She listens, problem solves, researches - all towards ensuring the best care for your pet. She was a real comfort and amazingly supportive when a tough end of life decision had to be made. She is the only vet I trust. Love her!

I have been taking my dog Nash to Caring Hands since September 2024 and am grateful for their outstanding service! After relocating here from Colorado and having the same Vet Clinic for the past 4+ years, I was a bit worried if we would find a right service here. Nash hated going to the Vet and gets very nervous (I don’t know what dog likes to go to the Vet), but this place does everything they can to calm his nerves. They provide outstanding service and are quick to answer questions and communicate with pet parents. I would highly recommend this clinic and hope for many more years of service with Nash and their facility.

Our cat Tammy is a no-nonsense cat. She's pretty easy-going. She gets a little nervous at the vet, but the examination staff was very good and patient with her. She's a 10 year-old tabby. We mainly bring her in for her annual check up once a year. She's a tad overweight, so we're putting her on a new diet that should help overtime. The check in process was a little odd, the front staff wasn’t particularly attentive at check in.
