Westarbor Animal Hospital

I love Westarbor. We switched to them as our regular vets after 7 years at another vet that always seemed too busy or distracted to care about our two cats. Right after switching, one of our cats went through some scary medical stuff. It was incredibly clear that everyone on staff cared about her and wanted her to get better. They did everything they could to make sure we understood what was happening and why. We'll happily go here for the rest of our pet-owning lives.

The staff is always friendly, caring, and professional, and its clear they truly care about the animals they treat. I feel very confident in the quality of care our pets receive. That said, there can sometimes be a strong push toward additional tests or immunizations. While I understand they want to be thorough and proactive, it can occasionally feel a bit overwhelming or like there's some pressure if you decide not to move forward. Overall, its a great clinic with wonderful staff- just be prepared to ask the questions and make the decisions that are right for you and your pet.

I've lived in the area for 13 years and have always heard great things about this practice. We recently established care here for our cat who has recurrent oxalate stones and partial urinary obstruction. The vet here was knowledgeable and open to our plan of care to manage our pet at home and avoid the frequent and costly urgent care visits associated with this disease .We appreciate the empathy shown towards our cat, who is a valued member of our family.

Very nice staff they welcomed me and my fur baby very attentive. The Dr was very kind gave my fur baby the best attention was very thorough. We left with a little goodie bag. The next day I received a text asking about how my dog was doing after his vaccines. Over all the best experience

This vet was new to us with the arrival of our new dog in 2023. They were recommended by a neighbor, and we have truly had a wonderful experience with them. Last week we had a preventative teeth cleaning with anesthesia. The vet came in prior to the procedure and was incredibly thorough in going over what the procedure would look like and what the potential breakdown of costs would be. Every staff member is so sweet and patient. I had no worries at all when I dropped my girlie off for the day.

We had such a great experience! The staff and Dr Danes were all super friendly and extremely caring! They have done everything to make it as stress free as possible! My cats loved the super active bird feeders that were located right outside the exam room window and I loved the super comfy chairs!!! I’m so happy that I chose them to be our provider!!
