Swann Animal Clinic at Plum Creek

New to Amarillo and was looking for a new place to take my beautiful angel cat named Chloe. Chose them based off their Google reviews and how nice they were to me on the phone when I called. The whole staff treated my Chloe with ginger loving care and made her feel safe and comfortable during the initial appointment before her dental and repeated the same care during the dental appointment. Chloe was pretty matted up so the vet (Dr Chelsea Friemel who is awesome) suggested a fresh start and to have her shaved into a lion cut while she was under. The groomer there did a great job as well. For everything that was done for my sweet angel Chloe the price was not bad at all! They also accept care credit which was helpful. Definitely glad I found them. Thank you to everyone at Swann Animal Clinic Plum Creek location for the awesome care you provided for ChloChlos!

Dr. Hughey and her staff have been an absolute blessing to our family. We brought in a rescue puppy, Toup, who had been hit by a car, and after his bones didn’t heal properly, he ultimately needed a leg amputation. From the beginning, Dr. Hughey went above and beyond to make sure we understood every step of the process and felt confident caring for him at home. The aftercare support was truly exceptional. Any time we had concerns about the incision site (mostly because we had a very active puppy!), they had us come right back in and never made us feel like a burden. Dr. Hughey even met us after hours and on weekends to check on him and make sure we were comfortable with his wound care. As nervous puppy owners, her kindness and reassurance meant everything. Today, we have a happy, healthy three-legged boy that we absolutely adore, and we are so grateful for the care he received. The office is clean, calm, and well-organized. We’ve rarely seen more than one other person in the lobby because they get patients into rooms quickly and don’t overlap appointments, which keeps it low-stress for both pets and owners. Our dogs genuinely love going to see Dr. Hughey. We cannot recommend her and her team enough!

I am so impressed with this vet clinic. They were so good with Karma and didn’t mind that I brought Karmas son too for her moral support. There wasn’t a waiting room with all sorts of dogs everywhere we went directly in to a room and was seen quickly. This is my new vet even though it’s across town. My daughter recommended them and I’m glad she did.

Dr. Hughey was super nice. She did great with my dog who was so scared. Lol. The vet techs were great as well. It's a nice place. Not many chairs to sit on in the lobby though. I felt a little a little awkward not knowing, but that's okay.

I had a wonderful experience at Swan Animal Clinic (Plum Creek) with Dr. Chelsea Friemel! She was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to answer all my questions. The staff was friendly and the clinic was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Friemel for anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care!

These ladies went over and beyond to save a pup that got parvo this dog belongs to a friend of mine who is in the hospital so they helped me tremendously and Bruno is doing perfectly fine now from that point on I decided that this will be my new vet for my own dogs. Their love for animals is still there they're compassion for people and everything I felt very welcomed very comfortable and they did go over and beyond to save that baby I have been up in the air for a while about who I wanted to take my dogs to now that Hope switched hands but now I have made a rock solid decision I will be returning to swan animal clinic on plum Creek as my fur baby's primary care physician lol. I highly recommend Dr. Friemel and Swann Animal Clinic on 45th! My fifteen-year old Chihuahua, Poncho, had taken a turn for the worse, and I had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep. Dr. Friemel and her staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and took over an hour to answer all of my questions and to talk about the different options. I normally see a different veterinarian office, which is also good, but they were closed and recommended Swann Animal Clinic. The exceptional care, compassion, and sensitivity that Dr. Friemel and the Swann staff demonstrated today has certainly convinced me to take my current pet and any future pets to her from now on. While I have interacted with many good veterinarian here and in the DFW area where I am originally from, I can safely say that Dr. Friemel has been the best. Thank you, Dr. Friemel, for making such a difficult time a less painful and for your compassionate care.
