I’m met Dr.Dickinson at the emergency clinic late one night with my baby Stella . The Dr. was so kind and reassuring that night . My girl had serious diarrhea and vomiting but the Dr. had it all under control 😉. A few test , a diagnosis, meds and we were set ! Stella was back to herself in a few days . Leap ahead about a week . My Lil Yorkie girl fell ill … same symptoms BUT … she’s a tiny girl & things can go very badly quickly for a dog her weight and breed . I remembered the Dr. being so thorough , calm and kind & found her practice .She saw Bijou within 45min of me calling the office ( Lone Star Veterinary) I’m very thankful I’ve found a great Vet and feel at ease now knowing she’s there . I’d recommend her & kudos to her assistant / receptionist/ office staff … who was professional and so sweet as well .

I have been a customer of Lone Star for the past 15 years. Dr. Katie has always treated my animals with kindness and compassion and her treatments are always spot on! I have sent numerous people her way for their animals and will continue to do so.

We had a great experience! We have 4 cats who have "adopted" us! We got the $40 voucher from ASPCA. Lone Star Vet accepts the voucher and "fixed" one of our cats! We will take the others because the process was easy and affordable! The staff was helpful and very professional. I recommend Lone Star Veterinary with 5 ⭐️

I got my 2 kittens neutered today. Picked them up at 3:30. They act like they are High. Really hyper. When does this stuff wear off? I can't get them just to sit still. I've got them confined separately but Wow. Hyper hyper!!!

I can’t sing their praises enough. Everyone on the staff is so kind and calm. I have never waited needlessly for anything. My dogs are my world, and to trust this clinic is everything to me. My husky girl had a rough hysterectomy, and there was no judgement. The Doctor is kind and thorough. They call next to check in on your pet after seeing them. I trust them so much! I had an emergency incident happen, and I was so distraught. I just went to their facility. They took care of me and our baby girl dog so completely. She is doing great now, and I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants compassionate care.

Do not use this clinic if you value your pets. We got a voucher to have my half Persian Neutered. She required rabies shots so we got them. She charged us 50 for the shots, even though she told us 30 on the phone. THEN she gives my cat an EXPIRED SHOT. My mom leaves a review on her fb page and she blocks my entire family, drops us as clients, and sends us all of our pet records, minus two pets. However, on my cats paperwork, she CHANGED THE EXPIRATION DATE on my cats rabies shot. They the proceeded to call my mother a liar on her review regarding the price increase. Highly unprofessional and we will not be using them again. Putting animal lives in danger and then treating the owners like this when they are called out. Aren't vets suppose to HELP animals? Shame on you.

Not only does the office staff act like she is too busy to be kind, unless you just need a simple service like shots or toenails being clipped, do not trust them to give any accurate medical advice or have medication needed for your babies to live a quality life. I had to take my sister in law and have her dog euthenized because this vet was negligent at best with the care for this animal. This poor dog was having back to back siezures, and this clinic did not seem to care at all. After taking her to Cadillac vet and having blood test done which had never been done by lonestar vet we realized to much damage had been done by previous medications and the best we could do for this dog was euthenize her. Iy was so sad she was only 3.5 years old. Cadillac vet staff was more than amazing.
