The Village Animal Hospital has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 220 reviews on Google
I have had wonderful experiences at Village Animal Hospital with both my dogs. One is a senior dog that needs extra attention to her medical needs and one very anxious dog that needs to handled carefully. Dr. Segarra and her staff to a great job with both pets. They always take the time to fully explain treatment options .
I have trusted and appreciated Dr. Segarra for years; however, since Jimmy joined the office, my experience has significantly declined. Unfortunately, communication has become extremely difficult. I NEVER receive callbacks. I leave the correct number and email to be contacted at and nothing, there also have been repeated instances of my pets’ information being mixed up. I am also concerned that incorrect information may be relayed to Dr. Segarra, and I’m not confident she is aware of these issues. It has become nearly impossible to schedule appointments or obtain necessary medication for my dog, who suffers from severe anxiety. This situation has reached the point where I am leaving the practice specifically because of these ongoing problems due to Jimmy. Dr. Segarra, I have called and left multiple messages requesting a callback, but I have not received a response. Given your past level of attentiveness, I believe these messages may not be reaching you. I am hoping this review will finally prompt direct communication, as I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to speak with you.
I recently took a Dekalb Lifeline pet there who is going to a rescue in Canada and needed its certificate. I was very pleased with everyone. The staff and Dr Beatriz Segarra were super friendly and thorough. I would recommend this facility to anyone!!!!!
Dr. Segarra and her staff are the best. I highly recommend them for treating cats and dogs.I love how they share their knowledge in getting the best care for your beloved pets. Our family has been a customer for over a decade.
Prior to Dr. Segarra's opening of The Village Animal Hospital, she was our vet and came to know our cats quite well. Her compassionate demeanor with both the pets and pet owners is extremely calming and comforting. We were thrilled to see that she opened The Village Animal Hospital several years ago, given our long history with her. Like other patients have stated in their reviews, Dr. Segarra's services are top notch and she never "over-sells" unnecessary services or supplies. She empowers her clients with information, allowing them to partner with her in the continued good health of their pets, determining what care is best given at home vs. at the clinic. Several of our cats have endured a lifetime of special needs including diabetes, hyper-thyroid, kidney failure and anxiety issues. I'm grateful to say that they have all continued to live full, content, quality lives, exceeding typical life expectancies which I attribute to Dr. Segarra's keen advice. She is truly knowledgeable and passionate about the care and comfort of her patients - both two legged and four-legged.
We hav a Bernese mountain dog, that is afraid of his own shadow, we have always had difficulty taking him to the vet. The staff here is extremely patient and gentle with him
I have been going to the Village animal hospital for almost 8 years with my two dogs. They are always professional kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.
