Dr. Moehring and June are some of the most wonderful people who will ever take care of your cat! They treated our cat Plum and cured his hyperthyroidism. The care the cats receive during treatment is phenomenal. They do everything to make sure your cat is entertained and enriched; it's clear that they're deeply committed to making the cats' stay during monitoring as stress-free and enjoyable as possible! The follow up has been outstanding as well. We're so fortunate to have this incredible therapy and such amazing veterinary professionals in our area!

I cannot say enough good things about The Cat Company. From the first phone call to the appointment day, the staff was kind, knowledgable, and explained feline hyperthyroidism in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated their help guiding me through the pre-appointment testing. When we dropped Trinity off for her treatment, they gave her a very thorough examination. Throughout her stay, we received updates about how she was doing and June even recommended a food to help with her sensitive tummy. If any of my other cats receive a hyperthyroidism diagnosis, my first call will be to The Cat Company. They are affordable, competent, and will treat your cat like she is one of their own.

Hopefully I will never again have a cat dealing with hyperthyroidism. But if I do, I would not hesitate to bring them here. They treated my cat Autumn last week after she was diagnosed and referred here by my vet. Given the choice between lifelong medications or this one-time treatment, this was a no-brainer. It's only been a few days but from the moment Autumn came home she has been 100% acting like herself and I look forward to her getting healthy again. Much thanks to June and the doctor.

From the first phone I received from June, I knew that my husband and I were making the right decision to move forward with the radioactive iodine tx (I-131 tx), with the Cat Company. June took time, over the phone, to explain what hyperthyroidism was, how the tx worked, how our cat would be cared for, instructions for aftercare, tx results, and gave us time to ask any questions I had. That phone call put us at ease and we knew our cat would truly be cared for. Daniel and June both introduced themselves when we arrived, examined our cat, and again went through tx procedures and aftercare. Although it was hard being away from our cat for 2 days, I know she was in good care. June provided daily updates, which were greatly appreciated and also put us at ease. There is no doubt that everyone's cat will be in good hands and truly cared for at the Cat Company. When we came to pick up our cat, her bloodwork again was reviewed, aftercare instructions were written and provided, and we are were able to ask additional questions we had. June and Daniel both answered emails we sent prior to tx, and after, which speaks volumes to their compassion and professionalism. We are looking forward our appointments down the line and hopeful our cat will continue to enjoy may years ahead. Thank you to the Cat Company for all you do!

NOTE: This review is reposted, from several years ago. I have since been back to the Cat Company and they are just as amazing as I remembered! I cannot say enough good things about The Cat Company. Dr. Mann and June were so kind and caring, and I was provided with great updates. My girl was so spoiled, I don’t think she wanted to come home. I drove two hours from Pittsburgh because the clinic that provides radioactive iodine locally is currently unavailable- but if I ever have a future cat with hyperthyroidism, I will take them here even if there is a closer option. Thank you again for taking such good care of my baby!

Caring people. Excellent service for hyperthyroid cats. I am editing this review because I just picked up my second cat today who was treated at The Cat Company. Both boys refused to take their pills, so this was an excellent option. The kind folks at The Cat Company worry about what kind of food they like, and they provide music and entertainment. They were absolutely excellent with my feral boys. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Moje and Boje say thank you!

I couldn't be happier with my Cat Company experience: getting my 12 y/o kitty her radioactive iodine cure for hyperthyroidism. The Cat Company is nearly 50% cheaper than other options I had researched, which is amazing enough, but it was also paired with high-standard care and customer service inside what looked to be a state-of-the-art animal hospital. Both expectations and protocol were made clear, and the coordinator, June, was pleasant and helpful to work with. The Doctor had excellent bedside manner as well. I would highly recommend this for any hyperthyroid cat-owners out there willing to get to The Cat Company for this miracle cure!
