They treated me and my cat with respect and like he was royalty! They treated him how I would want to be treated they were quick and patient! They did an immaculate job on his surgery. When I picked him up he was spry and in perfect shape! He’s home recovering and acting like nothing happened could not be happier with the experience!

After my vet of over 20 years retired and that clinic went downhill in terms of quality and passionate care of my pets, I took my cats to Dr. Walker with Dearing Vet after a recommendation from a long-time family friend. Two spays handled professionally, compassionately, and with the smallest, cleanest incision I have seen in a long time on both cats. One kitten taken in for health issues, handled beautifully and with the utmost care for both my cat and myself. Dr. Walker was happy to answer any questions and listen to all of my concerns. She is now a happy, healthy, playful kitten. One cat taken in emergently for life-threatening symptoms, now perfectly healthy after the care Dr. Walker provided, once again with compassion and the utmost care. The clinic staff are all very friendly and always make sure we get in when needed. The rest of my animals will definitely be going to this clinic for the rest of their lives. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Our dog has always been well taken care of at this vet clinic. From acute medical issues to aging and end of life care. We had to put our family dog of 13 years down recently. They made this process smooth and were extremely thoughtful during this. I highly recommend them if you’re in the Abilene area!

Dearing Veterinary Clinic is one of the best veterinary clinics in Abilene. The staff is very friendly and professional. The doctor explained everything to me in detail. They treated Boone (my dog) with the proper medications and made it so that Boone was not as nervous as he could have been. I highly recommend Dearing Veterinary Clinic to anyone that wants a personal and professional treatment for their dog or cat. Their prices were very reasonable.

Dearing has always taken the best care of our dogs, are timely on their appointments, and love everyone’s animals just like their own. When we took one to be put to sleep, the respect, patience, and honor of our dog was above and beyond anything I’ve seen. A week later, we received a signed card with a paw print of our dog, including a donation made on behalf of our dog. These folks are the best all around, and I trust Dearing with any service on my pets. Top notch folks here!

Dearing Vet Clinic always takes great care of our cat while we travel! Our cat almost hates to leave as she gets such great attention and affection. Staff is very friendly and knows our cat by name when we walk in.

We had to euthanize our beloved fur-baby 😭. The staff was fabulous, courteous, professional, and understanding/sympathetic. I recommend these awesome people to care for your pets.
