Took my dog to this location on two separate occasions with a specific concern. I told them that on one of my dogs teeth the calculus is brown when I go to clean and when I floss between his two teeth it bleeds. Both times they told me it was normal calculus and he was fine. Now a couple months/hundreds of dollars later and the tooth is wiggling when I clean and needs to be pulled at another location. The people here either didn't care enough to do their, didn't know how to do their job, or intentionally harmed my dog so I would come back and give them money to pull the tooth.
This hospital and staff are absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond for all four of my dogs and truly treat them like family. Dr. Johnson is by far the best veterinarian — he always takes the time to answer all of my questions, never makes me feel rushed, and treats my dogs as if they were his own. Tori and Robin are equally wonderful; they are kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and they always make each visit a positive experience. The entire team is professional, compassionate, and thorough, and I am so grateful to have a veterinary hospital I completely trust with my dogs.
Terrible communication and unprofessional behavior by the vet on shift. I believe his name was Dr. Johnson. My dog had a 7:45 AM tooth cleaning appointment and we were the first dog to check in. The doctor called after the bloodwork was done at 8:50 AM and said everything was good to go. I assumed when he said they were going to put her under that meant right away but instead they kept her in the back for four hours and did all the other dogs first while my dog waited. Now the doctor tried to say it was because the other dogs needed extractions so they went first and that’s a bunch of crap! I am escalating this to corporate like I told the doctor because when I called and asked how long the procedure was going to take they said 3 1/2 to 4 hours. And this is going to end up being almost 8 hours for an 11-year-old dog who has never been kept in a cage and hate being confined. The doctor trying to excuse it and explain it away was probably the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever experienced take your business to a different Banfield even though they’re all the same this Dr does not deserve your business! You are a terrible veterinarian!!!!
I had to put down one of my fur babies today. Starting with Anita the receptionist, she was kind and courteous. Very understanding of my situation. Next was J the tech, he came out to my car and carried Roscoe into the hospital and put us in a room right away. I was trying not to cry, he handed me tissues and said he understood. And then Dr. Gonzalez, she has always been one of my favorite Drs from working at Banfield! She said that she remembered Roscoe from previous visits. And while I was telling him to go find our pack and that Foxie and I would see them later, she had tears in her eyes! It helped saying good bye!
They insist on dropping off between 7-7:30 but then make you wait to even take the dogs. People have to work. Why are you making people wait? If we have to be there for the drop off then be ready to take the dogs back? I wasn’t the only person that had to say something this morning.
Love coming to this Banfield! Not only is the staff super nice and welcoming but they go above & beyond ensuring that my puppy is completely comfortable & happy when I bring Vito in for whatever reason!! 1000% recommend this Banfield for anyone to bring their fur babies
My 10 month old puppy had been sick all night with a stomach issue. I called Banfield as soon as they opened and without hesitation they told me to bring him in right away. Cooper was treated as soon as we got there. Dr. Censi was thorough, had an excellent bed side manner, and went over the course of treatment and expectations very clearly. She calmed my nerves and is clearly a well trained vet. Cooper was on his road to recovery and I left with a lot of trust in Dr. censi. Would not hesitate to send anyone to this location.
