Sylvan Corners Pet Hospital

I've been coming to sylvan corners for over 10 years,I absolutely love Dr. Sissies! The staff is amazing and they're a very clean. Sylvan Corners has been amazing to me and my boston terrier's. For the most part the staff has been the same since I started going and that speaks volume. Sylvan has assisted me for normal apts to eye ball apts, that lead us to UC Davis. I felt like I was cheating on SC but what my dog needed at the very moment was not able to be provided by SC. Sylvan corners feels more like family not just a pet hospital. Shout out to Robert & Matilda!

Dolce Cocoa Donn (my 17 mo. Old Shih Tzu) and I (Denise C. Donn) have found our new, forever Vet. Dolce is my first Shih Tzu and he had been having this ‘reverse sneeze’ experience (5 in the last year) that scared the heck out of us both. We finally decided to check out this vet (centrally located in Citrus Heights) and it was such a great experience!! From the front desk, to Kim the vet tech, everyone was so awesome! Thank You Dr. Dana Gilliam & staff!!!

After 5 years at another vet, we decided to try Sylvan (Dr. Sissle). Our American Bully has recurring ear infections and has cost a lot of money in recurring vet visits over the years, and every time home treatment followed. Wrangling a 60lb dog to get drops in her ears twice a day was a hassle, to say the least. We took the baby to Sylvan for her ears, thinking we knew what to expect! We were wrong in the BEST WAY!!! Not only did they get us in and out fairly quickly, with a clean-eared baby, they medicated her in office with something strong enough to only need once. No take home drops. Pills we can handle, and they sent us home with prednisone and a detailed dosage schedule. Matilda at the front desk was HILARIOUS!!! Big thanks to Robert, our tech and the amazing, gentle and straightforward Dr. Chris Sissle!!! I cannot recommend Sylvan more!!!!

Been taking my dogs to Sylvan Corners for over 20 years. They’re friendly, really good with calming my dogs down, and thorough. Many of the staff have been there for those 20 years. I like that. Speaks well of the business. I always feel my dog is in good hands with them. Henry’s teeth cleaning was much less expensive than anticipated and he had no problems afterward. Highly recommend!

The Vets, and people who handled the pets and medication were lovely! They provided over adequate care for me and my cat, unfortunately the receptionist "Val" created a rather less than adequate experience for me as a first time visitor! Not only did she have negative commentary towards me while I had a 1 on 1 conversation with an employee who worked in the back, but she also did not answer the phone adequately. Instead of saying "hello, how may I help you" or "how can I help you", she answers with "..Can I help you?". Your veterinarian’s and other employees that aren’t receptionists are exceptional.

My cat needed shots, and to address a stomach issue. He's fine now, I had clear recommendations for keeping him well. Scheduled a follow up in a couple of weeks.

Excellent office staff and veterinarian doctors. My fur baby was having terrible stomach issues over the weekend. I was able to get him in to see the doctor on a Sunday. Everyone there was very thorough and explained everything they were doing from start to finish to my dog. The cost is totally reasonable compared to my old vet that costed an arm and leg and possibly your soul. I have requested all my dogs medical records be forwarded to this office. They are now my dogs primary veterinarian office. They even called me a few days later to check on Cairo to see if he improved. Now that showed me how much they care for their patients.
