Stone Ridge Animal Care

I had to say goodbye to one of my cats this week. Stone ridge has cared for all 3 of my cats since I got them. They were communicative, understanding about managing prices, and compassionate during this time. They let me say goodbye in private and just let me take my time. They did everything they could for her but ultimately the most compassionate thing to do in the end was to say goodbye. They helped leading up to that final moment, trying to prevent it, so much. But she just was not responding to treatment. They gave me options and supported my choices. They respected my sweet girl and helped leave without pain. The photo is one of the last of our girl before she left us.

Our cat Bob has recently been having some age related issues. Everyone at Stone Ridge is very kind, caring, and considerate. Thank you to all involved. They took great care of him. Bob also says thanks so much. He's feeling much better. As you can see from this picture during his visit, he was very comfortable and relaxed.

After searching online for a vet to perform eye surgery on my cat I found Stone Ridge in a Google search. Their website specifically lists "soft tissue surgeries" including eye enucleation as one of their features. when i called to make an appointment I was asked why and i said my cat needs eye surgery, specifically eye enucleation. The receptionist hesitated and i told her the website states that's one of their specialties. With a giggle she says "Hmmm, REALLY? Well hang on, I'll ask if ask if we do that. i decided instantly not to put my pet's life in their hands.

Dr. Like was amazing! Very knowledgeable and explained everything without making me feel stupid. Explained my options very well so I could make an informed decision.

Having a new puppy and needing to establish care for her I chose Stone Ridge and so very glad I did. From the start of scheduling the first visit online to check in, the assistant taking history and the actual exam by the vet top notch. Great information about the puppy's current health and needs. Plenty of time to ask questions and answers were given that were easy to understand. Discussion on future booster shots needed. I am so glad I chose Stone Ridge for my puppy's care I feel they really do appreciate the clients and their pets.

We were hesitant to return after the awful experience we had last year, but we knew it was on the vet, not the facility. I had been told by many people to see Dr. Helms as he was absolutely amazing, and he certainly was!!! He put our pit Lucy to ease for all the things she had to have done, and didn't make any snide or unnecessary comments about her breed. She was a bit scared at first, but they were best friends by the time everything was done. He answered the questions we had without making us feel rushed.

Dr. Helms and his staff are absolutely wonderful!!! I can’t say enough about all of them and how caring they are for Miss Macy!!! We do know what we would do without this great place! ❤️
