Advent Veterinary Services (Dr. Vivian Ramos - Dr. Thomas Kilbane)

Brought my veiled chameleon here because his eye was acting up (and this is my first exotic animal so I was pretty freaked out about it and wondering if I was doing something wrong) But Dr. Kilbane assured me I was doing amazing and he took really good care of my scale baby! He even called me a week later to check on him and make sure he was still doing okay! I will recommend this vet to anyone and had the best experience!!

Chaotic waiting room and I had a long wait time past my appointment time. Exotic pet doctor was knowledgeable and helpful. I got all of my questions answered and left with what I needed. Price seemed reasonable.

We have taken our late cat Allie and current cat Coby to Advent for several years. I can't recall a bad experience. Dr. Kilbane is great and staff is always nice and helpful. I feel I can trust this place and my pets are safe in their care.

All of the staff are amazing, but Jess (Shimi) is god-sent. Probably the best Vet tech I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, my dog has terrible anxiety and hates new people (always men, which I agree on hating men too so my dog has a good point), and while he still hated it and acted a fool, Jess was so patient and gave me some good advice and really took her time and was persistent on getting the bloodwork done despite my dog acting a fool for an hour straight, we got the job done. 10/10 experience. Live Laugh Love being an animal owner.

Took my macaw here, very loving and caring staff. Diagnosed my bird, great prices. UVET sucks don’t take your bird there Dr. Kilbane is amazing, explained everything so clearly and addressed all my concerns! Jess the nurse was amazing too, so lovely and nice Everyone online loves Dr. Kilbane

We’re new to Advent, but so far it’s been a great experience. We have one dog of our own and we’re rehabbing a family member’s dog after she endured a catastrophic break to her femur. We’ve only been patients there since early January and have already had many experiences with them including: last-minute work-in appointments for a UTI, surgery incision check, fentanyl patch removal, dental procedure requiring general anesthesia, x-rays, bloodwork, and more. One time, they squeezed us in for a quick appointment and ended up staying after they closed because the dog required some testing and more discussion. The entire staff has been kind, helpful, and understanding. They do a wonderful job of explaining what’s going on, what the costs will be, and it’s evident they care about not only helping your pets but helping you have a good experience. We switched based on recommendations from friends and so far are very happy with the decision.

We loved Dr.Killbane. However, we had an appointment scheduled in advance for December of 2025. I had personally called and canceled the appointment in June of 2025 because my pet had passed they said the appointment was taken care of. Fast forward to December of 2025. We get new phones and new phone numbers the old phones are still active for so long. The old phone sits in a drawer I turn it on every so often for the kids to play with. I seen a text saying that we missed an appointment and now we have to pay $25. How did we miss an appointment? I canceled it back in June because our pet passed y'all said it was taken care of. How is there an appointment for a pet that’s passed? It honestly makes it to where if vets are going to be like this then it’s not worth having any pets at this point.
