Wonderful, compassionate vet, and veterinary staff. Called for Troubles to be seen after she started coughing out of the blue. Fearing kennel cough, I called and spoke with Misty, who booked us right away to be seen by Dr. Niu. My girl was examined, and a treatment protocol started. Do not yet know if we are dealing with kennel cough, but she has all antibiotics on board, and we are keeping our fingers crossed.

This place was amazing. Dr. Aguilar was very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be returning. The front staff and the nurse was very helpful and nice.

Dr Aguilar was very helpful and caring towards my cat. The two nurses who assisted were also very helpful.

Prepare to be overcharged and avoid scheduling visits online. We scheduled ours online, shifted our work schedules to bring our dog in, showed up just to be informed that the veterinarian we scheduled wasn’t even there and that we would have to come back at a later time. Once we did, we were given a 450 dollar bill to treat a small infection in her paw. The heartworm tests are equally expensive, costing almost 150 bucks to get your dog tested. 😰 The service was good, but by god the prices are bloated.

WE LOVE DR NIU!! We have been taking our furbabies to Dr Niu for over 10 years now and she’s absolutely the most amazing vet! This was our first time at this location because it was an emergency for our 5 year old Malinois, Poppy. This location is nice that there is street parking in front but also a parking lot in the back. It seemed like Poppy had injured herself doing Maligator things but we couldn’t pin point the exact issue. She would randomly yelp in pain and it was concerning because she had a very high pain tolerance. Fearing internal injuries or possible organ damage we scheduled immediately to have her examined. After a brief exam Dr Niu laid out the plan and executed it in the next hour. Xrays and physical exam showed Poppy had a minor slipped disk in her spine that was pinching a nerve. We were relieved to hear that Poppy was overall healthy and just needed to chill out for a few weeks. Not the easiest thing for her to relax, but it’s for her own good! The vet tech that brought us Poppy’s medication also did a fantastic job at explaining what and when to give her. Thanks again to Dr Niu and her staff! PS - har gow make the best pill pockets for her girly Poppy 😊

I needed affordable vaccinations updates for my two dogs and I was pleased with West Main because they are very affordable and they were able to fit me in right away. The office is nice and clean and the staff are great. Definitely recommend if your looking for a vet office for your pets.

Zoey was indicating severe pain this past Saturday morning. She would yelp whenever she moved a certain way. Thankfully, the West Main Animal Hospital opens at 8AM on Saturday so I took her in, without an appointment. They opened on-time, and Dr. Willem did a very thorough examination. The Dr. was patient and thoughtful and determined that she likely had a pinched nerve or muscle strain. We left with prescriptions that immediately helped reduce her discomfort. Today, 5 days later, she's back to her normal self.
