Bayview Animal Hospital

Last week we moved from San Diego to Ft Lauderdale. Our Frenchie got sick immediately and I spent the week visiting 4 different vet hospitals 7 times. I was not impressed with any of them. This week, I had to take our Rottweiler in for a routine visit and vaccines. I am so happy to have found Bayview! Every person was wonderful! Chris at the front desk was courteous and kind. The vet tech was efficient and sweet. And Dr B was great. She came in and Maui loved her instantly. It’s tough taking a 125 pound Rottie to the vet. Sometimes, even with their training, be can be intimidating to staff or even some vets. This place was very experienced. I am happy to have found such a wonderful vet group for my big baby! Highly recommend!!!

I recently started going to Bayview Animal Hospital since my cat started showing some symptoms. I took her previously to other places but no one has showed truly care as the staff that works here. We subscribed to Paw Pass for $20 monthly and it has been totally worth it since we had to come back a few times in a row to do all the necessary tests. What it impressed me the most was the text messages after appointments asking how my baby has been doing and feeling. Thank you Chris, Dr. Jake, Taylor, Dessiree, and Dr. Brittany for showing genuine care!

Dr. Bowsher & the staff at Bayview Animal Hospital are amazing!!! My 12 Year old long haired German Shepherd has been a patient for over 6 years. We have seen many vets including Dr. Seaman(he has relocated) and mostly Dr. Bowsher. Our dog had horrible allergies requiring he be put to sleep for ear infection treatments ever 6 months until a year ago. We tried Fatmers Dog at Dr. Bowsher & Dr. Seaman’s recommendation-Tucker has no more rashes or ear infections since Farmers Dog. The visit in June 2 was routine- Vet Nurse Lauren was gentle and Tucker responded well to her and Dr. B allowing them to take his blood and give required vaccinations. We have a private pet insurance and we also have the their private pet Paw insurance that has saved us with all visits and medications. The Dr. and staff are fast to contact me about Tucker and his lab results and any other questions I have! how he doing! I also adore the front staff and Vaughn, Chenise, Mike & Chris are fantastic! (Sorry if I missed anyone) Kudos to the entire staff of Bayview!

We brought our dogs in for travel papers. My husband brought them in, but informed the receptionist that the papers need to be under my name, as I will travel with them. When the papers arrived with his name, we called and the receptionist, who told me she was looking at the forms my husband filled out and that my husband had made a mistake. We went to the clinic to see the forms, and they will not show them to us. When we asked the manager to correct the mistake, he would not, and threatened to call the police on us! We are here waiting for the police, but now the manager is hiding in the back instead. What kind of business makes a mistake like this and instead of trying to resolve the problem makes threats instead??

This is definitely the best veterinary service I’ve ever received!!! I’m so happy with the service at this place that I want to share my experience. I took my 12-year-old dog and my 5-year-old cat because I needed health certificates to travel abroad. My dog is already older and has some health issues. I was very worried about going to a veterinary clinic and being charged for many unnecessary things, like extra tests or medications. However, the doctor was very honest with me and explained that although she could run many tests, she would only do what was necessary for the reason I came in. They helped me with all the documents, timelines, vaccinations, deworming, and everything needed for the trip. They were incredibly kind to my pets and to my family, who accompanied me during the process. Of course, veterinary services are usually expensive, but I truly feel that I paid a fair price—and in fact, I wasn’t charged for anything extra or unnecessary. I even thought the bill would be higher, but it wasn’t. Additionally, the veterinarian prescribed antibiotics for my dog, who had a urinary infection, and now she is doing so much better. The improvement is impressive—she no longer has bleeding, she has control again, and she’s happy and full of life ❤️ I truly recommend this place—my experience was wonderful

We have been taking our two cats to Bayview for almost six years. I wish we could give a 10 start rating. You can rest assured that your fur baby will receive the best and most compassionate care possible in the area. Dr. Jake and Dr. Bowsher are amazing and techs and office staff are great as well. Sadly, we put one of our cats down this past week. Not only did they provide her excellent care the last days of her life, they provided her and compassionate and thoughtful send off to the Rainbow Bridge.

I was referred to this vet clinic by my neighbor and I am SO HAPPY I brought my fur baby here. I was so impressed by the clinic, the staff, the cleanliness and Dr. Bowsher! My goodness an emergency urgent care appointment was accommodated last minute for my dog who suffered from a previous injury flare up, and being a first visit to Dr. Bowsher, she was able to *accurately assess* the situation with my dog and recommend next steps. The care and love was so real I’m going to switch to this doctor as my pup’s primary vet! When you find excellence you stick with it! I Strongly recommend this animal hospital and they are very considerate when it comes to what’s necessary financially speaking as opposed to some visits with other veterinary care places that hit you with $1000+ just to see what’s up. I was so delighted with the service and care, that my critical emergency was handled with great compassion and became something manageable and the stress and anxiety about my dog suffering— immediately converted to peace…and a few days later he’s doing much better. This is a gem right in our own backyard! Thank you Bayview!
