About 10 months ago, I brought my lovely cat with a difficult issue to Embrace. My concerns and her symptoms and history of frequent, repeated UTIs had been minimized and ignored by others to the point I was told euthanasia was the only option. After lengthy consultation with Dr Laurel D., including a review of the cat’s complex history, old labs, and her demeanor, we took some first actions, including meds to manage symptoms. In the first months, symptoms improved but did not stop. Not one to give up, Dr Laurel stepped back, did some research, consulted with other vets, and worked with me to identify she suffered from bladder atony. It took a bit of time to get here, but my cat has been symptom free and so happy for the past 6 months. She is finally a healthy girl again managed on relatively inexpensive medications. The Embrace staff is friendly, caring, and both vets are thorough, willing to listen and work with concerned owners. No veterinary care is inexpensive these days, but Embrace is reasonable and only does diagnostic testing that is required/agreed upon by the pet owner. I happily drive 30 minutes to get to the clinic and I send my friends with pets to Embrace! Well done Drs. Douglass!

We brought Vader in to see Dr. D (Laurel) as a new patient. As usual, our fears were calmed! Dr. D and Darcy have such great communication skills and when all was said and done, we walked out with prescription ear drops and even more of an appreciation for the knowledge and overwhelming compassionate care they collectively offer to their patients and human families. We 100% recommend Embrace Veterinary Care -Animal Hospital.

Dr. Laurel Douglass and Sadie have been so wonderful to my puppy and me! Dr. Douglass is experienced and very knowledgeable with canine pathology and the stages of each disorder. Dr. Douglass has been educating me on my puppy’s disorder and how to manage her at home. Her medical technician, Sadie, is also well trained in treatment procedures. Sadie was so gentle with my puppy when removing the IV Catheter. Overall, I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to my family and friends.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at this vet clinic. Darcy was amazing—she took the time to kindly answer all my questions about my senior toy poodle’s soft stool issues. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease with her clear explanations and gentle approach. I really appreciated the care and attention she gave to both me and my pup!

Dr. Laurel and her staff are the best! I literally wanted to cry after my Roc’s first visit yesterday. He has very high anxiety which makes my anxiety go up because I worry about his breathing when he is overwhelmed. I felt 10x better than I ever have previously. They were very caring and understanding. I’ve never had this experience at his previous vet. Dr Laurel is very knowledgeable with his breed and gave me valuable education to care for him that I have never been told. Im extremely happy I made the decision to get him a new vet. If you are looking for an excellent office for your precious pet, I highly recommend! Note: while doing this review, they call to check on him. His previous vet has never! Just further confirms I made the right decision!

Whenever you’re finding a new vet for your pet it’s really hard to find one you feel you can trust. At embrace automatically I felt that they cared about my dog and myself. The staff are always so nice and supportive. Both Dr.Douglass are AMAZING! They will do everything to help your pet! I love Darcy she is the best! They get to know you and your pet so well that my dog loves going to see them. He actually gets excited to go to vet

The team here is unbelievably kind and caring—they truly treat us like family every single time we come in. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and care deeply about the animals (and their humans). They’ve made every visit feel personal, supportive, and full of compassion. This is the only vet I’ll ever trust with my pets. We’re so grateful to have found them.
