Dr. McCartney is best vet I have ever been around. She was an absolute pleasure and so informative about the procedure. She gelded my yearling and removed his wolf teeth at the same time. She told my husband and I what to expect every step of the way. A true professional… Doc Holliday and I look forward to working with her again in the future!!
What a knowledgeable and outstanding equine vet! She took care of our daughter’s first horse for the first time today and we were so impressed. Wasn’t pushy on anything and walked us through being new horse owners. Thank you Susan!
This woman is the absolutely best horse vet I've had. She's wonderful with my horses and doesn't recommend extra services (floating teeth, sheath cleaning, etc.) unless it is needed. As a new horse owner 10 years ago, I would call her whenever I thought there might be something wrong. She finally told me, "Look, your horse is fine. I'm not coming out." LOL! How many vets (or physicians, for that matter) skip a chance to make a dollar? She taught me to relax and enjoy horse ownership. I'd give her infinity stars if I could.
Love this veterinarian. Kind, realistic, not patronizing, doesn’t do unnecessary procedures. She helped me with my new horse and didn’t try to nickel and dime me. Wish there were more DVM’s like her out there!
