North Ranch Animal Hospital (Kierland Animal Clinic)

What can I say. Brought my dog Cadence in for 2 things. The staff was very kind to me from the beginning to end. I observed them having massive patience with some older clinetelle that I would not have that kind of response to. They were good to my dog, they were good to me. As a business owner, one thing you can tell about if a business is good or not is if their employees are smiling. They all were. I also never had to wait long for any appointment. The crew behind the desk had 2 situations where one employee would be talking to a client about aomething and the other would overhear and help resolve. These people were the definition of a team. Dr's are Dr's and they are only good as their staff who is at the forefront of your business. My message to the Dr's is to keep these guys around because they are all a rarity. I have brought my animals to North Ranch Animal Hospital for over 20 years. We were sad when Dr Benson retired however, I am so thankful we now have Dr Handel. She is an amazing vet!! She is patient, you can tell she really cares, she is thorough, and answers my millions of questions without seeming annoyed 🤣 I believe she is only there certain days of the week, I always make sure to schedule when she’s there because she’s really really great! Thank you Dr Hendel!! I’ve included a picture of one of my dogs that she is currently treating 🙂

Dr. Chris Dorto is the best. Honestly. I've had dogs my whole adult life and Dr. Dorto is one of my all time faves. Knowledgeable, practical, and cost conscious. Typically I would have to remind every veterinarian I saw that I'm on a budget and I don't have unlimited funds for extra lab work etc. etc. That's never the case with Chris. He volunteers treatments and medicines where there is a cost savings. He has a good way with animals, and plus, well, he's cute! I'd follow Dr. Dorto to any practice he was at.

I made an appointment so I could get on the books for a dental cleaning and meet the doctor that would be doing my pets procedure. The first odd thing that happened was the technician gave me an estimate without even looking at my dogs mouth. The estimate was around $1000! I was a bit sticker shocked because my pets tartar was very mild.. After receiving the estimate, the doctor then came in and said that he will not be doing the procedure, but they do have a relief doctor that does anesthetic procedures for them. Now that to me is a pretty big red flag. They don't have a full-time doctor that does surgery there? How are you supposed to form a relationship with a relief, veterinarian? I came solely to meet the team that would be doing my pets dental. What if there are complications after the surgery and the vet that did the operation isn't available because he's only there temporarily. You cannot offer good quality care while the relief vet does all the procedures behind the scenes. I would not trust this vet hospital. I also do not know who this "Dr. Benson" is that everyone is referring to in all the 5 star reviews, it appears he is no longer there and this place has been bought out my cooperate.

I can’t recommend North Ranch Animal Hospital enough! My baby boy, Diesel, has been coming here for years, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is incredibly caring and knowledgeable, and they treat Diesel like family. The level of attention and professionalism they provide is unmatched. It’s clear they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they care for their patients. I always leave feeling confident that Diesel is in the best hands possible. If you’re looking for a veterinary clinic that goes above and beyond, this is the place!

Great staff and great knowledge! Price quoted a handful of places and his place came out well priced but also went above and beyond for our dog who is overly aggressive towards strangers. Thank you doctor benson for taking care of our family!

Very thorough and caring. Both the vet tech and the vet were very thorough in the explanation of my dog's condition.
