First time here with my fur baby. Dr. Lee and Joyce are beyond knowledgable. I felt so safe and comfortable and at ease knowing my dog will get the care she needs. I didn’t feel forced nor pressured into the services they were providing. They made sure both my fur baby and I were comfortable and I definitely had a peace of mind going home after having an amazing experience. The staff members are so friendly. Due to having a lot of services that my fur baby needed, I wanted her to get a full check up, bloodwork, fecal, urine and up to date shots. Also, she needed medicine for her ear which I had to take home. So if you’re wondering about pricing it was definitely reasonable for which was $855. Now keep in mind a lot of services was done on my dog which I had agreed on. For the sake of my baby I want her to live a long healthy life since she is a young senior. Again, no one forced me into these services. I wanted her to get a full check up and get tested for a current health record. Previous vet places I’ve been too never did a full check up on my girl besides giving shots and etc… So I am beyond pleased and so satisfied bringing my dog to this vet.

Forest Hills Veterinary Care has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring every time we walk through the door. A special thank‑you to Dr. Shelson and Dr. Lee, who consistently meet and exceed our expectations. They’ve taken incredible care of our fur babies over the years: Sammy (RIP), Petey, and Toby. I love this hospital. Every time we visit New York for the holidays, we make it a point to bring our crazy pup to this location—and for good reason! Dr. Lee, Manager Bernadette, and the entire team always welcome us with so much kindness and patience. For someone who’s had dogs for over 20 years it feels nice to be cared for even with a new puppy. Thank you to this amazing team for going above and beyond. We truly appreciate you and couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with our pup while we’re in NYC! May 2026: Dr. Lee continues to be incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, which gives me great confidence in my dog’s care. Bernadette, the manager, always takes exceptional care of us. Joyce is also wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The entire staff is professional, kind, and dedicated, something hard to find in a lot of vet clinics. The hospital is newly renovated and looks beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I am so grateful for everyone at Forest Hills Veterinary Care and highly recommend anyone looking for a great vet clinic.

Great first experience! Dr Shelson was patient very nice and answered all my questions, the follow up with a call to check for any symptoms after the vaccine shot! Very happy with my first appointment.

The team at the Veterinary Care Group was exemplary. They were able to get the tests done with me in the room to see what was being done. My cat is a feral rescue and she is very vocal but she was calm and was even snoring with her eyes open. I felt very comfortable with this kind and talented team.

I recently moved to Forest Hills and brought my five-year-old cats for new patient exams. Highly recommend. Staff is professional and friendly, facilities are clean. Dr. Lee performed a thorough exam, her explanations were easy to understand, and she did not make me feel rushed. Overall excellent experience and I look forward to coming back as a regular client.

I really appreciate that they made some room for me in an urgent case of a sick-kitty, making a spot for me to come in even on a busy pre-holiday day. The vet-techs were all really great, and when any of them were out of their depth with a tricky cat or process they had backups ready to take over. Radically better experience for me and the kitty both, than what we had at the previous "cat hospital" in Forest Hills. I am grateful for the help from these friendly and knowledgable folks. Fingers crossed he keeps getting better, but Im grateful to have found a spot to take him to if he needs.
